Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday home in County Kerry - Dawros Lodge Kenmare

3 bedrooms with Stunning Views and incredible Scenery just 3 miles from Kenmare

If you are looking to enjoy the spectacular scenery of Kenmare and the surrounding county Kerry, then Dawros Lodge is the perfect place to do so. It is located right by the shore of Kenmare Bay and the rear of the property offers uninterrupted views of the stunning bay and the mountains beyond. The sunsets you will witness from this property really do have to be seen to be believed.

The house itself is bright, modern, well-finished and lovingly created as a family home. There are many features throughout the house to make it really feel like your home away from home when you are lucky enough to stay here.

The open plan kitchen and dining area is designed to be a spacious yet homely space – ideal for spending time together either around the perfectly placed round table or the stand alone island unit with seating. The kitchen offers wonderful cooking facilities with both a regular oven and a range.

Doors lead from this area outside to the patio with outdoor furniture and barbeque. This really is the ideal place to while away a long evening enjoying watching the sun set behind the mountains across the Bay. During the day time, there is a large well kept garden with a children’s play area. There is also a sun deck overlooking the sea with sun loungers to really relax. There is a clear perspex barrier to shelter you from the sea breeze while still allowing you to enjoy the views.

The sitting room is warm and welcoming and has large windows with great seaviews. There is a cosy open fire for those evenings when you can feel a chill in the air but because the sun can penetrate so much of this lovely property, it seldom feels cold inside.

There is also a children’s playroom downstairs with lots of games and toys to keep little ones entertained. This room houses a futon bed suitable for two children to sleep on. There is a guest toilet downstairs.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The master double bedroom has a super-king size bed and a full ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower over it. There is a second smaller double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with bath and a shower over it and the third bedroom has two single beds which can be put alongside one another if you wish to make a third double room. This bedroom has an ensuite shower room.
