Beautifully restored 2 bedroom (plus attic loft) home brings contemporary living to this hidden gem just 2 hours from NYC. We gutted the house completely incorporating modern amenities like a brand new stainless steel kitchen with granite countertops, hardwood bamboo flooring and a large deck to enjoy the view of the pond just steps away. Relax in the living room watching the fire or the 3D flat panel TV or just looking out the picture window to see the fish jumping in the pond right outside the large picture window. Shmooze in the kitchen or at the dining room table just steps from the sliding doors taking you out on the recently built deck to dine al fresco. Walk down the dock just steps from the house to swim in the refreshing pond or use our kayak for a leisurely paddle. Our home is a great place for all seasons; watch the leaves change in fall, the flowers bloom in spring, close to skiiing in winter and lots of water fun in the summer. Not to mention the close proximity to the Berkshires and all it has to offer. 2 hours from NYC makes this an easy drive just to get away after a hard week at work. The house is located directly on Robinson Pond; a 100 acre pond allowing electric motor boats, kayaks, canoes, swimming and fishing. The house is 30 miles from Tanglewood, close to Jacob's Pillow, a short drive to Bash Bish Falls. This location is ideally situated close to NY as well as to the Berkshires plus hiking, skiing and swimming. Close to Catamount and Butternut ski areas..
2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom plus loft sleeping area, sleeps 5

Great location but missing a few things
This house has a great location - right on the water, boats available for use, and close to some cute small towns like Millerton, Hudson, and Elizaville. The only drawbacks were the WiFi (very weak signal, only worked half the time), and the living room furniture (could be a lot more comfortable). The house was otherwise well-equipped; we had everything necessary for a relaxing weekend at a lakehouse. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy place to stay on the water.
Great place for a quiet weekend
Great little cabin by the edge of the water. Everything was clean and comfortable.
So glad you enjoyed, we hope you come back soon
Great house with beautiful view
I enjoyed having coffee on the deck and relaxing by lake in the evening. The house is beautiful and clean. Great location! I would stay here again.
I also love a good cup of coffee overlooking the lake in the morning. So glad you enjoyed.
House is right on the lake as pictured. Nice size. Wish furniture in familyroom had been more comfor
We brought our own kayak and used one that was there. You can not swim in most of the lake as it is algae filled but you can swim at the swimming area. We grilled outside and made a fire in the pit for s'mores. It can be typically buggy so bring lots of spray. We had a very rainy day so we played lots of the board games with our teen aged sons and had a blast. We brought kitchen furniture in to familyroom to sit on. It was exactly the get away we needed. We only had three days off so we couldn't travel far from our home base.We also went to the Millerton Movie House, due to the bad weather, and that is a beautiful, old theatre with excellent picture and sound quality.
Cute house with plenty of amenities to enjoy the outdoors. Would definitely stay again.
So glad you enjoyed. We hope you come back soon.
