Beautifully restored 2 bedroom (plus attic loft) home brings contemporary living to this hidden gem just 2 hours from NYC. We gutted the house completely incorporating modern amenities like a brand new stainless steel kitchen with granite countertops, hardwood bamboo flooring and a large deck to enjoy the view of the pond just steps away. Relax in the living room watching the fire or the 3D flat panel TV or just looking out the picture window to see the fish jumping in the pond right outside the large picture window. Shmooze in the kitchen or at the dining room table just steps from the sliding doors taking you out on the recently built deck to dine al fresco. Walk down the dock just steps from the house to swim in the refreshing pond or use our kayak for a leisurely paddle. Our home is a great place for all seasons; watch the leaves change in fall, the flowers bloom in spring, close to skiiing in winter and lots of water fun in the summer. Not to mention the close proximity to the Berkshires and all it has to offer. 2 hours from NYC makes this an easy drive just to get away after a hard week at work. The house is located directly on Robinson Pond; a 100 acre pond allowing electric motor boats, kayaks, canoes, swimming and fishing. The house is 30 miles from Tanglewood, close to Jacob's Pillow, a short drive to Bash Bish Falls. This location is ideally situated close to NY as well as to the Berkshires plus hiking, skiing and swimming. Close to Catamount and Butternut ski areas..

Great place to relax for a winter weekend
Comfortable place with serene views of the lake. We were a group of two couples who stayed on a winter weekend when the lake was totally frozen over. Enjoyed using the BBQ, firepit, and appreciated the peace and quiet.
Thank you so much for the great review. We are so glad you enjoyed your weekend and hope you come back soon.
This home has a great layout with open living, dining and kitchen area all with lake views. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, air conditioning and heat are also a plus! It was great being so close to the lake - no long trek to put kayaks in - we brought our own but the owner does have a kayak and peddle boat available, although we didn't use them. Robinson Pond is a great place to paddle - the water was like glass -so serene. Fishing was good too - caught a few right from the dock. Also enjoyed making campfires each evening in the firepit. This rental is the perfect spot for enjoying what nature has to offer with all the comforts of home. Can't wait to visit again!
Quiet home on a beautiful lake
Cozy home with beautiful lake views. The location is close to several beautiful upstate locations: Hudson and Albany in NY and Tanglewood, Lee, Leno's and Great Barrington in MA. The owner is responsive and helpful.
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and were able to explore the area.
Relaxing lake house
The setting of the cottage was perfect for relaxation. The view of the lake from the decks wonderful - the cottage has been recently updated and was perfect for a group of friends.
So glad you enjoyed. We hope you come back soon
Felt like home, loved it !!!!!
This home is right on the lake and very cozy and romantic, the sleeping accommodation is also very comfortable, will definitely come back soon, I miss copake already
So glad you enjoyed. We loved having you and look forward to your returning.
Beautiful and Serene
This was the perfect place for us and our two young kids to stay. At this point in my life, I am not feeling like camping, but I do love being out in nature. This house had all the amenities, but was in a beautiful natural setting. We loved going to the private beach every day and making fires every night.
So glad you took advantage of the beautiful outdoors. We also love relaxing by the firepit after an exhausting day on the beach :)
Copake is located in Columbia County, two hours North of New York City and three hours West of Boston. We are just 10 miles from Catamount.
Since 1824 neighbors and visitors delight in Copake's scenic valleys, lakes and streams, enhanced still more by the Berkshire Mountains to the East and the Catskills to the West.
