Puerta Del Mar is a Spectacular Place to stay when interested in feeling comfortable and cozy. This luxurious condominium is built at the top of a mountain overlooking the sea and has beautiful sunsets and nights where you can gaze up at the stars from our cozy penthouse and just get lost in the moment. Our home away from home unit is inspiring and expresses tranquility, calmness, comfortable luxury living. The terrace is private enough to tan in the nude. The master bedroom is extremely spacious and decorated in a gold tone and filled with an exquisite Roman Style KING size bedroom set that is extremely appealing to the eye. The bathroom attached to the master bedroom is awesome and with enough space to share it with your loved one and still feel comfort. The double sink style and decorated walls with paintings that tell a story of the beauty that the Island of Puerto Rico has to offer. The 2nd bedroom is quaint and furnished with a queen sized bed and mirror sliding closet door
The cool navy blue and white colors that decorate this particular bedroom add a sense of freshness which goes perfectly with the most amazing ocean view that you have ever seen. The high ceilings, light fixtures, windows, balcony and private terrace add a spice to the set up that one can really appreciate when planning on spending quality time with loved ones. The Kitchen and Diningroom area are fully loaded with full kitchen, pot and pan set dish set and accessories such as ups,cutlery set, knife set, cutting board, place mats, kitchen towels, a glass top stove, microwave oven, refrigerator and more. Throughout the house you will find accessories that you can utilize such as an iron in each bedroom, a first aid kit, a blow dryer, liquid shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, a set of beach towels, a small beach cooler, hand towels, bath towels and each bedroom is equipped with a clock radio. The living-room is equipped with a genuine white leather sofa that turns into a bed and there is a futon in the area just before the balcony. The apartment sleeps 6 people comfortably and the most enjoyable area for those interested in catching TV events and sports while on their getaway, we have a Theater Room up on the second floor fully equipped with sofas that recline and are perfect for enjoying the 70 inch WiFi LED TV that accents the wall with a combination of Cable TV, Blue Ray Player with I pod Dock, Surround Sound and WiFi. The Terrace is absolutely breathtaking with a combination of views of the beach area and greenery around the property and furnished with a trio of relaxing and tanning seats with table , chaise chair and double swing set . When you enter the complex you will find a kiddie pool and small park for a child's entertainment. Finally, after all of this comfort and satisfaction you can step out to the rear of the property where the heavenly Infinity Pool is located with small Jacuzzi and Club House with space for BBQ and party area. The cabana's that are surrounding the pool are great for laying up and just taking in all of this beauty and elegance while feeling the Island sun. The heavenly view from the Infinity pool into the ocean is like no other and at Puerta Del Mar's Best Kept Secret in the Caribbean you can enjoy it from every direction. This property is in the middle of Paradise and decorated in such a heavenly manner that there is no way you can not fall in love with Aguadilla after this experience.
Events in Aguadilla: Patron Saint Festival - 11/15/ - 11/18/ Every year, Aguadilla celebrates a patron saint festival. The festivities include live music, dances, food, parades and religious processions. Carnival Aguadillano – 12/02 Festival de la Chiringa – 4/29/2010 This festival, geared toward the Chiringa (kite), includes food kiosks, music and kite flying. Great fun for kids. Crash Boat Beach Summer Festival – 05/23 – 05/25 For the past ten years at the end of May, thousands of people have flocked to Aguadilla’s famous Crash Boat Beach for its highly anticipated summer festival. The day long event is jam-packed with musical performances by the island’s top salsa, meringue, reggae, and Spanish-rock bands. Beach goers will have their pick of volleyball, swimming, kayaking, sailing and dance competitions.
Hello everyone! Hola ! We are a happily married couple and proud parents of 2 wonderful boys named Luis Janel and Adonis . We love to venture in new and exciting vacations and honestly fell in love with Puerta Del Mar the very first time we set foot on the property. I am a city employee here in NYC where I was raised in Upper Manhattan but I am originally from Yauco, Puerto Rico ( my Birthplace) . I love P.R. and I am working hard now so that in the future and after retirement we can go live there and relax and enjoy the rest of our lives. My husband Luis is a Small Business Owner in the South Bronx (NYC) where he was born and raised. He has a home and family in the town of Mayaguez, P.R. He also holds this beautiful island close to his heart. We look forward to enjoying the vacations that we spend at our P.R. home and are happy to be able to share it with other families who want to explore and love the island as much as we do.

Puerta Del Mar is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of a great escape and a getaway that brings complete calmness and relaxation to us. We literally visited one afternoon while on vacation and decided right then and there that we needed a home here. There are many different reasons for us being attracted to this property and some of those are the location, we feel that Aguadilla is a great location and a good town, with just enough stores for shopping, restaurants, Crashboat Beach being so close and the set up of the community. The airport is conveniently close and there is so much to do in Aguadilla. We have created a binder for our guests and filled it with different restaurants, shopping, activities, beaches and more. We also liked that our Condo is spacious and has just enough space for us to live comfortably with two children and possible guests. We love the fact that our Terrace is completely private giving us plenty of options when we have Bar-B-Q's and want to tan out there or just enjoy the view in pajamas. The fact that this is a private community is also a big reason for buying at PDM. The Security Guards on staff are helpful, vigilant and courteous which give me a sense of confidence in the fact that safety is a priority here. The Infinity Pool is very appealing to anyone who visits and we personally loved it. It has spectacular views and swimming in it feels like you are in Utopia!!!!
We feel that from top to bottom our Penthouse Condo is just fabulous. The Terrace is perfect size and totally private, the swing patio set is wonderful to utilize on a sunny afternoon while enjoying the breeze that comes up from the beach and the hammock on the 1st floor balcony is awesome for relaxing and taking in the oceanic views, it is paradise here. All we think of is relaxation and beautiful views, it takes us away to the heaven that we dream so much to enjoy some day. This Home is filled with Love, we furnished it with family, comfort and convenience in mind. Every room has a purpose and is meant to take you to a better place mentally. The Theater Room upstairs is just another place to sit and relax while enjoying a great flick and just being surrounded by all the sounds and the clear look of the HD TV . The 70' size is just a plus so that movie lovers like us can enjoy.
We are true movie lovers and once upon a time my husband was an actual video store owner. :O) We hope that our renters appreciate and utilize this particular room because it is one of my favorites.The stairs in this home are so appealing and when we saw the unit initially we automatically knew that we had to have them installed. the glass look gives the home a very luxurious appearance and let's the sunlight come in just perfectly. The window shades we picked are to give you just the right amount of sunlight when you need it. The sleeping areas outside of the bedrooms are great and make the home so much more useful. We are utilizing every inch of space in this home. We hope that are guests are comfortable and feel at home most of all. We decorated the kitchen and bedrooms as well as bathrooms with the idea that people who stay here feel like it is their home as well. Our main concern is that our home is your home as well. ' Mi Casa es su Casa', Welcome and make yourselves at home! I was raised to always make visitors feel comfortable and at home. If you are happy so are we.
Im a seasoned traveler, a business owner and have been renting on the Island for the past 15 years. From beach front homes in Rincon, to Penthouse condominiums in Luquillo and recently a condominium at the Haudimar complex in Isabella. Owner gaining reputation as a bad landlord.
List of issues:
*Old food (most notably rotten eggs) in fridge when arrived.
*Kitchen drawers broken and wood veneer peeling on drawers. Silver duct tape used to tape parts of veneer back on.
*Leaky water pipe under faucet which is leaking water onto pans that caused for them to rust. Had to clean pans.
*Top plastic nozzle on faucet cracked and sprays/spouts water onto counter when turned on.
*Bathrooms dirty with hair and tissue paper when arrived.
*Sporadic mold forming on bathroom tile.
*Ice maker on fridge not working
*Walls in main room have spotty paint repair job.
*Hallway walls filthy with scrapes.
*Large portions of water damage on walls with some mold clearly visible in several areas of the home.
*The only two windows that can be opened are filled along lining with dead bugs. Obvious windows had not been cleaned in a very long time.
*No drinking cups - had to purchased new ones.
*First floor balcony hammock secured with silver duct tape. Had to remove and secure properly.
*Second floor balcony has several walls with paint peeling. Light box missing. No cushions on wicker swing chair and sunbathing patio furniture except for two small chairs.
*No surround sound as advertised. No HD channels as listed when arrived. Had to call owner to get channels upgraded.
*No Netflix as advertised.
*Internet very spotty and not good. Luis told he cable company had just changed the router in the home (but also learned from cable company he could upgrade to a faster speed).
*Router extender not working when arrived. Had to call company to fix. Still did not work very well since main wifi router does not put out strong signal.
*TV has bright red stripe constantly on TV to the right.
*No beach equipment as advertised.
*Closet in main bedroom messy when arrived.
*Stains on furniture on both floors.
*Recliner on stained recliner broken.
*Though it's in a nice location. Overall no "Luxury" aspect as advertised within Condo
*LAST review was in August of 2016. Over six months ago.
*One review in particular, points out most of the issues I have described (though we had more). The owner responded to this renter that these issues would be resolved. This was 10 months ago.
Just wrapped up a week here and we just loved it. Unit is huge and extremely well appointed with lots of nice furniture, great TV and excellent beds. AC worked great, water pressure was superb and there was plenty of hot water. The fully equipped kitchen was nice, rooftop deck was great, pool in the complex was big and clean with an amazing view of the ocean. Luis was very responsive and gave us amazing tips on a few places to visit that we would have never found on our own. As soon as I get my vacation dates for next summer we're going to book another week here.
This place was nothing short of AMAZING! Very private and beautiful. We did not have any issues. It was very clean and any questions I had Luis answered without hesitation. Thank you again for welcoming us into your vacation home. We will be back and cant wait to stay here again!
First and foremost Aguadilla is absolutely gorgeous! This condo is extremely close to the airport which is super convenient. Located within a gated community which has a beautiful pool overlooking crash boat beach. We were able to find everything without any problems and get into the condo easily. The condo is just as described, everything was clean and well-kept. We had a really big problem with Internet access and no television the entire time we were there. Luis the owner was pretty responsive and had some people calling to try and help. Unfortunately the issues were not resolved during our stay, which is why I wasn't able to give five stars. Internet access and cable TV are two of the luxuries which were listed in the posting and we counted on. This was unfortunate for us as the guests, and also for the owners. I wish there was someone on site that could've come to help us while we were there. Other than those technical issues, our stay was wonderful. The rooms are very comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the beach and pool are right there and waiting. We will definitely go back to Aguadilla and plan to stay at your place.
Our stay here was GREAT and we were also please to find out that the actual place was exactly like the pics.... Which is usually a problem a lot of times , but to be honest the place was everything I hoped it to be !! The owner Luis was awesome and very helpful at anytime I needed him for questions and even for tips on where to go eat and have fun ! Only one thing was that the kitchen drawers needed to be fixed a little and to be honest that was it . All in all I definetly look forward to booking this place every time I go back to PR to visit my family !!! Thanks again Luis for having a nice comfortable and clean place !!! Maybe a tv with cable in the master room next time I return would be awesome LOL !!!
Our experience at this property was bitter sweet. The condominium development and people we met during our month long vacation there were outstanding. The location of the property was safe and secure. It was convenient to many excellent restaurants and and attractions. The unit itself, though beautiful and in a great location, was disappointing....
To begin with, upon arrival we quickly noted that the unit had not been prepped for our arrival. We had difficulty with the door lock and had to contact the owner. He was available and helped us to get into the unit. We were then instructed on where to locate the main water valve, as the water was not turned on. As we proceeded to inspect the unit, we were alarmed to find that the "luxury" aspect of the unit had been grossly misrepresented. It was obvious that the unit had not been maintained and cleaned. We called the owner to inform him of the list of things that needed to be done. He had a cleaning crew come in the next day to clean and leave us some new towels. Certain things need to be repaired or taken care which include sinks water shut off valves, broken kitchen cabinets and drawers, refrigerator's ice maker, kitchen faucet, entertainment center, five ceiling water leaks, stained furniture, coffee maker,dishes and glassware, utensils. This unit has great potential if these things were taken care of including a new paint job. We hope this helps the owner.
