The Brigadune Beach House - one of the loosely sprinkled upscale beach homes on a several miles long, sandy stretch of Oregon Coast beach. Located close to the town of Gold Beach and a mile north of the mouth of the famous Rogue River, it offers peace, serenity, gorgeous views of the constantly changing Pacific, and spectacular sunsets.

Blending warm, earthy colors and natural elements of wood, tile, granite, this luxurious and graciously appointed home unites elegance and simplicity with contemporary good taste and comfort. The ambiance of soothing tranquility, rest and relaxation, that we all need and seek is very strongly present here.

Wall of windows as well as the spacious, oceanside deck leading to private bridge for your beach access, continuously bring you delight with the ever-changing moods of the Pacific Ocean, beach, dunes and sky.

The unique foot bridge at the Brigadune Beach House gives you private access to several miles long, sandy Bailey Beach.

Located in front of the house is the second largest sea lion rookery outside of Alaska. On days when the surf is quiet, you can hear them barking. They’re viewable with binoculars if you can pick them out from the similarly colored rocks, or if a rainbow isn’t blocking your view.

The east view is towards open land and the mountains.

Hardwood floors with beautiful area rugs as well as tongue and groove wood finished walls lend soothing, elegant ambiance.

The living room and dining area overlooking the Pacific Ocean offer ample seating, the kitchen and the walk - in pantry are fit and equipped for gourmet cooking experience. Amenities include two flat screen HD televisions with Blue Ray/DVD players (60' TV in the living room) and satellite receivers for separate channel viewing, book library, patio furniture, charcoal BBQ grill, extra refrigerator and top of the line washer and dryer.

The spacious master bedroom has direct access to the custom ocean view deck. You can lie in bed while watching and listening to the ocean—especially on a full moon! The large Jacuzzi tub for two is just part of a customized bath area that includes a large dual-headed walk-in shower. The twin bedroom with access to its own bathroom is also located on the ocean side, allowing you to see and hear the ocean. The queen suite offers privacy and quiet

All rates based on up to 6 guests occupancy.

Extra people are $25.00 per person, per night, $175.00 per week. House can accommodate 8 people.

Cleaning Fee: $175.00

Pet Fee: $75.00/each pet/per visit. See pet policy.

Oregon State Lodging Tax: 1.8%

A $500 security deposit will be returned in full shortly after your departure, provided there is no damage to the property, there are no missing or damaged items and client has met their responsibility described in the OCVR's Check-out List - -Click Here.

If there is a damage that exceeds the amount of security deposit, client agrees that the difference will be charged to the client’s credit card on file. Client will receive record of and an accounting for such damage.

Cancellations and Refunds:

ALL cancellations are subject to a $250.00 cancellation fee plus 2.9% of the amount if paid by the credit card.

Cancellations communicated with more than 30 days from your scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations communicated within 30 days of your scheduled arrival date will be refunded in full only if the reserved time can be re-booked at the same rate. In the event that we are able to fill your cancelled space, we will refund the recovered amount.

OUR FAVORITE BEACH HOUSE – WHAT A FIND!

The house is elegant but casual. It has a wall of windows that face the ocean with no obstructions. We get huge enjoyment just looking out the windows! The kitchen is extremely will stocked. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large, with comfortable beds and excess of fluffy towels and high thread count cotton sheets if needed. There is also a large laundry room that is fully stocked. What we love the most is where it is situated. It has a private bridge and path to the beach, which is only yards away. The beach is beautiful and quiet. Six miles of sandy beach to hike on. We hardly ever run into anyone! We get to take our dog Kona and there are even special towels and hoses to clean her after playing in the sand. The house also has a huge deck to sit on and enjoy the view. Gold Beach is a darling little town with some excellent restaurants if needed. It's also close to many hiking spots along the beach and harbor. We already booked few days in the Fall there. It feels like home! The house is extremely well maintained and the people are amazing to work with when setting up your stay. We are well traveled and have stayed in many places. This house is by far one of the best!

Very Comfortable - Could use a few updates

Wonderful private bridge to a beautiful 3-4 mile (much less than 7 miles advertised on VRBO site) stretch of beach.

Great westerly facing deck, but no table available for truly enjoying on nice days.

Beds have okay comfort, but definitely need new sheets.

Lots of room to spread out and have fun, but soundproofing is limited.

The fireplace is not a “real” fireplace. It is an electric light in the middle of plastic logs.

Kitchen is very well appointed.

Tremendously pet friendly.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your recent feedback regarding the Brigadune Beach House. We've made some changes based on your comments. THE FIREPLACE is indeed electric. We replaced the gas fireplace for both reliability and safety reasons. Listing has been updated to reflect that. THE BEACH in the front of the property runs for several miles from the mouth of the Rogue River to Otter Point State Park to the north. Listing now states "several miles of beach". THE SHEETS and the quilt sets for the king and queen bedrooms were updated in the Fall of 2017. The twin room beds got two new sets of sheets that Fall as well. DECK FURNITURE: during the stormy season we don't keep furniture on the deck for safety reason as they can become flying missiles. Shortly after you left, we had another seasonal storm with wind gusts of 50 mph. When the storm season is over, normally about May 1 through the middle of October, we have chairs, loungers and small tables on the deck. The property was beautiful and well maintained.

The house was absolutely beautiful from the reclaimed beams to the beautiful fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed to make the stay perfect. The view of the estuary and the oceans was unbelievable. We left wishing we could have stayed longer. We hope to lease this property again.

Flawless Luxery at a Reasonable Cost

This is a luxery property. Exceptional private beach access and inspirational ocean view. I am an oil painter and was so impressed with the view I simply had to do a landscape painting to remember the wonder of the moment. Well configured for pets with no sign of previous pet presence. Very clean and well stocked with everything you need to settle in for a worry free home away from home at the beach feeling. A definite return venue for future visits for us to the Lovely Oregon coast.

Stunning view, beautiful house!

We stayed for a long weekend at this lovely home and brought our 3 year old and 2 dogs with us. Even our dogs were catered to, as they have specially marked "dog towels" for getting sand off the dogs and blankets to cover the furniture if your dogs are not used to staying off furniture. Everything you needed for cooking was available for use and exceptionally clean and easy to find. It would actually be perfect for two families, as the house has bedrooms and baths on each side of the enormous open space that was the living/dining room and kitchen. The location and the private bridge/path to the beach was so great. Our little one and the dogs played for hours on the beach and we really only saw about 5 people on the beach during our stay. It was like having our own beach! Bottom line, this house is clean, very accommodating and you cannot beat the location. Plus the service you get from Lidia, who manages the rental, is top notch. She gets back to you quickly and accommodates your requests if at all possible. I can't wait to come back again!
