Welcome to our second floor, corner unit oceanfront condo at Amelia Island Florida in the historic city of Fernandina Beach. The balcony allows you a beautiful and unobstructed view of some of the most beautiful sunrises and beach scenes you could possibly imagine on the marvelous northeast coast of Florida. You can be entertained by the many porpoises, shrimp boats, and birds that pass by all during the day.

Whether you enjoy the sandy beach or a dip in the pool, both are easily accessible at this condo. The property features a private beach access boardwalk that is directly behind the building with a newly installed wood walk out to the beach. Also for your convenience, Amelia South offers a large Oceanside swimming pool that is located between the condominium building and beach, and has numerous lounge chairs to relax in. You can also relax in the Amelia Room in a relaxing setting and read a book or enjoy free Wi-Fi access offered in there on your iPad or Kindle. Two parking spaces are provided, one of which is a private space just for this condo. The Amelia South property has just undergone recent renovations with updated painting on the building in most all areas along with new landscaping on the property.

Recent upgrades include a new HVAC unit, refrigerator, and furnishings, including a sleeper sofa that sleeps two along with new patio furniture. The kitchen is complete with all appliances, and all of the cooking utensils you could ever need - including the kitchen sink! The unit has two bedrooms. The master bedroom offers an ocean front view, cable TV, DVD player, and a king size bed. The front bedroom has a queen size bed and cable TV with a DVD player. The condo has digital cable TV for all rooms and complimentary Wi-Fi is available, even out on the balcony. There are two full bathrooms as well, each with a shower. The breathtaking corner balcony is perfect for sitting out and watching the stunning Amelia Island sunrises and all of the wildlife living on the beach and the dunes. If you like to relax and read a book, or just meditate, sitting in the relaxing chairs with the windows open provides a relaxing sea breeze and the soothing sounds of the waves crashing on the beach.

The property is located in close proximity to many of the islands finest restaurants, and is just a short walk across the street from the “Surf Restaurant” which is famous for its outdoor tiki bar and nightly live music – there is always a good time found at The Surf. The beautiful downtown historical district is a short ten minute drive from the property so you can enjoy the antique, clothing, and specialty shops, including the oldest saloon in Florida. If you like hiking, biking or history, make sure you pay a visit to Fort Clinch State Park.

If you enjoy a game of miniature golf or a movie while you’re on the island, this fun is just five minutes away. There are several championship golf courses on the island that are also in close proximity. If you enjoy fishing, there are several local charter boats waiting for you, and dinner cruises are available for charter at the marina downtown as well. For a short day trip, you are only 30 minutes from the stunning Cumberland Island, GA or Jacksonville, FL. While there is plenty to enjoy on the island, it is not too commercial or busy.

I have traveled to Amelia Island my entire life and have many fond memories of going to the Island as a child with my family. Now I enjoy watching my wife and two daughters enjoy the beach and making memories on the frequent trips we make down there now.

Why Clay Greene chose North East Florida

Our family has come to Amelia Island for many years and we found what we thought was the perfect unit to purchase as a second home. It has an outstanding view of the ocean, and being an end corner unit, the view is not restricted by a wall.

Amelia South is a very well managed property and gives you a very secure feeling.

What makes this condo unique

Our condo is conveniently located on the 2nd floor on the North end of the building right by the stairwell. This gives you easy access to the parking lot and the walkway to access the pool and the walkway to the beach. The end units of the condo provide more spectacular views than units in the inner part of the building with the open ends of the balcony.

The balcony view is spectacular and you have a wonderful view of the beach and the ocean. If there is a fireworks event taking place at the Ritz Carlton or downtown Fernandina Beach - you can see them perfectly from the comfort of the balcony.

Very good vacation property.

We had a very nice stay in this Amelia South condo. It was very well equipped, the furniture was comfortable, and it was very well located on the island to either go into town, shop for groceries, or tour the south end. The very best feature was the fantastic view from the balcony. Being an end unit the view and breezes were awesome in all directions.

Great location, wonderful owner

This was the second time we've stayed here. We came back because we really liked the property. It's on the second floor and easily accessible by stairway although elevators are available. It's on the corner so better beach view. Location is good, very quiet even considering the proximity of the airport. Air traffic is mostly small craft and infrequent. We thought this was a great place to catch up on naps if traveling without children as we were. There are some great places to eat within short driving distance and historic district is very easy to get to. The amenities at the property are very good. The owner is also very flexible/friendly. We would definitely stay here again, we already have!

Great Location!

The balcony is a great place to enjoy coffee in the morning and wine in the evening while enjoying a wonderful view of the beach! The complex is well maintained and quiet. The location of the unit, right at the stairs, makes for quick and easy access to the beach/pool walkway and parking lot. The condo is clean and comfortable. It is a short trip to the historic district and lots of great restaurants and shops.

There are many activities to take part in on the Island. There is horseback riding, bicycle riding, and surf fishing on RIGHT ON THE BEACH. Early morning walks on the beach at sunrise offers the best time to collect sea shells. There are three local golf courses open to the public, and if you venture downtown you can stroll through many retail and antique stores, as well as embark on a charter fishing tour or a horse carriage ride through the Downtown Historic District.
