Visitors without cars will find a wide range of transportation options: all MUNI train lines are within a couple blocks, including the Historic F line which travels down Market Street to Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, farmer's markets, shopping, museums and more. For travelers wanting to visit Union Street, the Marina and Presidio MUNI bus service is available on the same block; the same bus runs through the Castro and Noe Valley in the other direction. Even traveling to and from the airport is just one train connection away. Rental cars are available from several ZipCar locations within a couple blocks. Laurence Chang purchased this studio in 2004
This building is located in the very heart of San Francisco, with access to great transportation all over the city and much to do within walking distance. The neighborhood is safe, pedestrian-friendly and public transportation options are abundant.
This Queen Anne Victorian is located on a street lined by old Magnolia trees. The Castro district, restaurants, shops, parks all surround this location.
Laurence was an excellent host. The unit was well appointed and located in a good neighborhood close to public transportation. Laurence also made things easier with a nice guide to San Francisco and the neighbor hood's best restaurants. VERY HELPFUL! Thanks!
I have been to SF multiple times in the last couple months. Laurence and Nick's place was in a great location, very safe, very clean, and had a friendly environment. I would feel safe and happy to stay again and even bring my children. It felt like a home away from home. Laurence was beyond kind to us! If you are looking to stay somewhere fun, clean, and easily accessible to all the major attractions, this is it!!
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unit. We would highly recommend it to anyone and hope to stay here again in the future. The unit is located in one of the most convenient locations in San Francisco and offers many options to explore, tour, eat, drink, and be merry. We were very impressed by the attentiveness of our hosts - Nick and Laurence - who assured that we had many options to choose from to stay busy while on our trip. Our stay was one of the best VRBO experiences we have had to date. Thanks so much Nick and Laurence!
My girlfriend and I stayed at Laurence's property and we were blown away! Amazing breakdown of what to expect, where to stay; all information was extremely helpful. He supplied in for for public transportation, what trains to take and everything! I couldn't reccomend a better experience or small place to stay for two!
We stayed in Nick and Laurence's apartment for 6 nights with our 8 year old son. Overall we were very happy. You can't beat the location - a safe and vibrant area that is close to everything you need including restaurants, groceries, and transportation (including an amazing selection of craft beers in a shop one block away!). The apartment is small, but cozy and clean with everything you need. They provided a blow up bed for or son which worked out just fine. Our bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is small, but fine to make a simple meal or snack. Communication from Nick and Laurence about all details regarding our stay and things to do in San Francisco was extraordinary. We would highly recommend this apartment. Thanks Nick and Laurence!
The apartment was a great location close to all transport
We arrived on our international flight and caught Bart into Powell purchased the weekly

Welcomed by Laurence and given run down of the apartment
apartment was clean well presented , as my travel companion is a vegan eating can be an issue
so to be able to eat in was good
Harvest and Whole Foods were close at hand for supplies which was perfect for our week long stay,
Would differently stay again

There are a number of tennis courts nearby - play tennis surrounded by redwoods and views of the Golden Gate and San Francisco Bay. Or walk a few blocks down 16th Street to Mission Dolores which is where San Francisco was founded. VIsit the historic wooden church which still holds services in German. Dine outside and enjoy the California sun.
