This building is located in the very heart of San Francisco, with access to great transportation all over the city and much to do within walking distance. The neighborhood is safe, pedestrian-friendly and public transportation options are abundant.
This Queen Anne Victorian is located on a street lined by old Magnolia trees. The Castro district, restaurants, shops, parks all surround this location.
A very nice room with a great location close to all things San Francisco. The room was comfortable and cozy and best of all quiet!!!
We had a great time staying at this charming studio apartment with this great location
just a block from the heart of the Castro district. The apartment is on the street floor and
has a small garden in front with table and chairs, perfect for morning coffee or late afternoon wine. The kitchen is small was has everything you need for a short stay, stocked with such
cooking items as olive oil and various spices, a good coffee maker, small refrigerator, etc.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the place overall very pleasant, good colors and very clean. It is a good value and we recommend it wholeheartedly.
This is a fantastic studio apartment! It's immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and extremely comfortable. The location is great, fast and easy to get downtown on public transportation. It's a short walk to shops, restaurants, banks, drugstores, and a movie theater. The owners are cordial, and respond quickly to questions and requests. Nick, one of the owners, helped me extend my stay twice. I was so happy and comfortable I didn't want to leave! I'll definitely be back.
This is the second time we have stayed at the apartment on Castro and we love it. The apartment is always spotless, large bathroom with a great shower. The kitchen is the perfect size for cooking a small meal on your own or simply heating up leftovers.
The apartment is centrally located to everything. Walk down the hill on Castro and you're in the heart of the city. Walk down 16th Street and you're on Market Street.
The landlords are very responsive and accommodating. If you need anything or have questions - simply text or email them.
This has now become our 'go to' VRBO when we come to San Francisco.
Laurence and Nick were great hosts, checking in with us several times during our week long stay in San Francisco. The apartment was clean, the bed comfortable and in a great location. We were there to visit family and are familiar with the area, but if we had needed tips, there was a detailed notebook with lots of ideas for restaurants and sightseeing as well as transportation. The online description and photos are an accurate representation of the well maintained and lovely property. We will definitely stay there again on a future trip!
We couldn't be more pleased with our accommodations while visiting the awesome city of San Francisco. The rental was conveniently located for all of our excursions, the room was beautiful and fit our needs completely and our hosts were gracious and helpful. We had the utmost of privacy while knowing we were being looked after. Helpful insights about the neighborhood and the city beyond were shared with us. We ate at amazing restaurants at our hosts' recommendations, too. We will definitely stay at the beautiful Castro Home again on our next visit.
