Located not far from the mouth of the Connecticut River, this 110 year old cottage has undergone extensive renovations in the 2007-08, keeping in mind the original flavor of the cottage, consideration of a water view from every room and easy maintenance. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom; Another bedroom with twin beds has an enclosed sun porch attached with 2 additional twin beds. a third bedroom also has twin beds. The kitchen, which flows into the dining area, has soapstone counters and is equipped with a dishwasher, electric stove, and refrigerator with cold water and ice in the door. There is a 1st floor laundry room, full bathroom with shower and an outside shower. The main feature is a large 3 season porch looking out to the water. There is an expansive lawn, and wonderful rock ledges that lead to the water.
Tenants must bring their own bed linens and towels. If you use up the soap, detergent, paper goods, dish washing liquid/detergent, etc., then tenant should replace as needed. Some tenants leave condiments, etc. in the refrigerator. Please feel free to use these.
Located directly on Long Island Sound, this cottage offers a water view from all rooms in the house and swimming off the rocks in front or at the nearby beach. If your vacation aim is to relax, you can sit on the flat expanse of rocks in front or on an Adirondack chair. If you want more action,nearby activities include beaches, fishing from the rocks in front, kayaking, sailing, motor boating, golfing, dining and shopping, browsing in antique shops and is not far by car to various CT museums and casinos.
Monthly rentals will be considered during off peak times at $3000/month + utilities
