About Linda Middleton
I am a 65 year old woman who was raised in this family home. I have lived in Forks most of my life. I am the founder and Executive Director of a non-profit organization called Concerned Citizens. You can look it up on the web Concernedcitizenspnw.org. That endeavor was born out of the need I had of finding services for my son with a disability who is now 41 and still lives with us. He has inspired many people and the organization has served many people over the 38 years it has been in existence. I love the outdoors, Forks, and the beaches. It is fun to watch the people who come to stay enjoy the things I was able to take for granted. My husband and I live just 3 minutes away from the rental and love meeting the people who stay there.

Why Linda Middleton chose Forks
It was my family home and I love living in the Northwest it is nice to be able to share it. The air is clear, there are beautiful trees laden with moss. The rivers are clean and beautiful. I love the ocean and the beaches. The people are friendly and everyone knows you it is the place to live, I marvel at it every day. When the Twilight saga was written our house was an exact duplicate of the Jacob Black House in the movie and so it became the Jacob Black House nestled between Lapush and Forks right at the 'treaty line'. Twilight visitors have realized the beauty of the area and now come to hike, fish, and beach comb.

Nice place to stay for a getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jacob Black house. Our 10 year old boys became fascinated with Twilight and watched all the movies. Overall, The house was well kept up. However the living room furniture was peeling and Apartment B's bathroom was a little dingy with dead bugs. The outdoor area was exceptional, the only thing missing was a soccer ball. We would recommend the property to our friends and relatives.
Peaceful retreat
A beautiful spot close to Hoh Valley and La Push beaches. Property exactly as described, an old farm with views of fields and trees. Would be a great place for a family gathering.
Excellent!
Everything was perfect!
Rustic cabin
Personally I liked this house due to ideal location within 10 minutes of Rialto first second and third beach but we had the master bed and bathroom
The other shower was reportedly dingy and the interior was dark but probably great for the twilight fan
Big yard with fire pit was fun
Overall great for beach access
Lovely place
We stayed here for 2 nights, 4 adults 4 children. Spacious, comfortable house, great space outdoors for sitting around the fire, lovely property. Kids liked the badminton and tree swing. Well located 5 miles from Rialto beach/ first beach. Property does not have river access now (too overgrown) but can drive there in less than 5min. Loved this place and can not recommend it highly enough!
Huge place for a family get-together
We made use of all the bedrooms as we rented the whole house. The house is divided into cabin 1 and cabin 2 so you can rent separately or the whole house. We also enjoyed using the outdoor grill and picnic table/campfire. Overall, very close to a lot of great beaches such as 2nd Beach and Rialto Beach. The kitchen was nicely packed with everything you need to cook and save food (aluminum foil) as well as ice in the freezer. Overall--great option for large groups!
Location
Forks is on the tip of the Olympic Peninsula and is a beautiful rain forest panorama of green evergreens, majestic mountains, the Pacific Ocean and beaches; rivers full of salmon and steelhead, and a wilderness full of deer and elk. Most recently it is the home of the characters from the Highlight series fictional books and movies. Where vampires and werewolves battle over the treaty line for the love of a teen age girl, Bella Swan.
This house is very comfortable and has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. It is peaceful and allows you to have the privacy of just your family and friends without the noise and activities of other people close by. The beds are comfortable and the house is cozy. The big country kitchen will accommodate many cooks and lots of culinary delights.
Other Activities: badminton, basketball , hillbilly golf, surfing, hiking the beaches, fishing (both ocean and river) , hunting.
