The home us charming gives you the sense of being on a farm in Tuscany. I loved the decor. Provided everything I needed to feel like I was home away from home. Clean!!!!! Breathtaking views on nature at its finest. The deer made my sunset. . Thank you again Roseanne for the charm warmth n love you put into her. Will definitely be back for a much longer stay.
My family and I love this place. It is so homey and cute, and perfect for a family getaway (surrounded by rooster decorations throughout the house).
I stayed here during the summer a few years ago and of course had a great time in the area vising the wineries, going to the beaches (the Orient Pt. state park is terrific and only minutes away), riding the awesome carousel, visiting with the goats at Catapano Farms and of course picking up farm fresh fruits and vegetables and preparing them in the spacious and scenic kitchen/dining room. The house is so beautiful, yet homey, that I jokingly said to my mother when we were there in late Summer that “this is the perfect place celebrate Thanksgiving.” Well, this past November, when my Sister, Mother and I were deciding where we wanted to have Thanksgiving dinner, I couldn’t help but think about this place. It was everything I thought and more. My sister and my nieces flew kites all afternoon as the Turkey and sides finished in the oven. Fall is the best time to visit the wineries and most of the farm stand stay open until Thanksgiving s, including my favorite Helen’s. And, there was no need to bake our own pies when the world’s greatest pies, from Briermere Farms, were right there.
Just a great place to stay and enjoy the North Fork.
The house was comfortable, spacious and spotless. Rosanne was very pleasant and helpful on where to go to enjoy our stay. We definately enjoyed the outside with all the wildlife. Beaches were amazing especially the sunset. I would definately go there again for an amazing time. Hopefully next year we can visit Orient again and stay there. Loved it..,
I couldn’t have asked for a better trip to Orient! I am so glad that I booked stay here as it gave us what we were looking for – a fun, and memorable filled trip, while also relaxing. This house is beautiful, clean and in the perfect location. The homes location has beautiful surroundings which were great to wake up to every morning as well as BBQ in the backyard at night. The quick bike ride to the beach was fantastic and the local restaurants even better. I would recommend this home to all- perfect stay for families or a group of friends. Rosanne, the home owner was so quick with responses and provided us with all of the information needed to make our stay comfortable. We will be returning next year for sure!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Orient for the weekend. The house was so comfortable clean and cozy! The decor was just what we expected, crisp and airy. It was so quiet and peaceful, we rode bikes, hiked and enjoyed the North Fork. We are thinking of purchasing a home in the area in a few years to retire. This was a perfect weekend getaway!!!!!!
We really enjoyed staying here. It was clean and comfortable. It has a large lawn where we saw deer every morning and the kids could run around. It has three comfortable bedrooms and all the amenities we needed. Rosanne was also very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
