Welcome to “Beachside Bliss”, our beautiful gulf front townhome directly on the sugar-white sands of Panama City Beach! Beachside Bliss is a NON-SMOKING unit.

Beachside Bliss is a 2-story townhome. It is *not* a condo in a high-rise complex. You'll have a private deck that opens directly onto the beach (you literally just walk out the sliding glass door). You won't have to park in some huge concrete parking garage (you park right outside the front door), you won't have to wait endlessly for very busy elevators, and you won't have to share the beach with the thousands of other condo residents typical in a high rise community. This truly is 'bliss'!

The unit has 3 large bedrooms, all well appointed with quality furniture (and high-quality mattresses) so you can sleep comfortably after an adventurous day on the gulf. The master bedroom features a king size bed and picture windows that overlook the Gulf of Mexico. The second bedroom is kid friendly and can comfortably sleep 4 to 6 (2 queen beds and “full size” bunk beds). We also have a main level bedroom with a queen size bed adjacent to a (newly remodeled) bathroom with a shower. All three bedrooms have flat screen TVs (with an HD set in the master bedroom).

The living room is well appointed too, and boasts a roomy sofa, a comfortable chair, and a 42' Sony Bravia HDTV (with a DVD player) for your enjoyment.

The kitchen is a gourmet's delight... with custom Thomasville cabinetry, granite counters, an oversized center island, and high end stainless steel appliances. You’ll find the kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and cooking/dining utensils. If you like to barbeque, you’ll find a nice gas grill ready for use on the gulf front deck.

Our dining room has a large dinner table with 6 chairs, and 4 more can dine at the oversized island (so 10 people can comfortably eat at the same time).

As for location, Beachside Bliss is located approximately 3/4 of a mile west of the fabulous Pier Park shopping resort! You can see the pier itself from the gulf front deck.

There are some great dining spots within walking distance of our townhome. Right across the street you’ll find a very good Italian/Pizza restaurant, a Wings/Barbeque place, and of course a couple of great seafood places (check out the “Sand Bar” about a block away).

There is a Winn Dixie grocery store and a CVS pharmacy across the street as well. Just to our east (in Pier Park) you’ll find a world of entertainment, dining, and shopping. The pier itself offers great views and fine fishing!

We employ a friendly and thorough cleaning service (so you’ll find our home well cleaned and ready for your vacation).

Hi! We currently live in Castle Pines, Colorado (just south of Denver). We bought these two adjacent townhomes as our future retirement home. As we're still some years away from retirement, we want to share our blessings with other families.

Why Vicki Bougan chose Florida

We call this unit 'Beachside Bliss' because it's gulf front and right on the beach (and not just any beach, but one of the world's most beautiful beaches)! It's not a high rise condo... you park right outside the front door and walk down the deck steps onto the sand. You have no elevators to wait for and don't have to share the beach with a thousand others in a high rise complex. It's quiet, beautiful, and oh-so relaxing!

Home like feel

Couple of issues. Guest room upstairs; the tv remote doesn't work well. Parking was difficult considering the house sleeps so many. Also that bathtub holds water after a little time in the shower. All of those things aside.. it was in a perfect location, quiet area of the beach but still close to Pier Park. The house was clean, and furnished well. I didn't realize until we got check in instructions that you have to share the washer any dryer with another unit. Wasn't so bad as the other unit was occupied by the owner. The house is kept up well and we felt right at home.

Owner's Response: The guest did not mention any of the issues mentioned in her review during her stay and I was right next door and would have gladly taken care of them. As for the parking, our parking lot is narrow but we do have two designated spaces right in front of our unit with some overflow parking along the parking lot wall. There were two families (4 adults and 5 kids) staying in the unit during this stay and they 2 SUV's plus a trailer. The washer and dryer is shared between our two units and we have been there many times and have had no problems sharing with our neighbors. These guests ran the washer and dryer several times a day - everyday. We only used it once.

Everything was perfect! We had a great time! Of note to those with pets and children: You share a deck with the adjoining unit. We used coolers to keep our pet on our side. FYI.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the great review. We are having gates installed between the units as soon as we have enough time between rentals to get it done. We had planned to have it dine before the summer season but our contractor backed out at the last minute.

Great location

We love this town house. It is large with a beautiful kitchen with plenty of pots, pans and dishes. The view of the gulf is outstanding with great sunset views. Close to grocery stores, Pier Park , and excellent restaurants. The beds are comfortable and it is very clean. This is the second time we stayed here and we loved it both times.

Clean property- well equipped and close to the beach and shopping for last minute necessities

There two sets of push button locks to get in. We got the first to to open had to try numerous times to open the unit door. Finally got it open by jiggling the handle. Very tedious with luggage sitting there. The unit thermostat was set at 74 degrees and we were unable to move it. The unit was clean and well equipped in the kitchen, plenty of dining space. The group next door had a dog or two that barked occasionally. We were told the units were pet free and did not take our small dog with us.

It may be nit picky, but when sitting on the patio, the safety rail was so high you couldn't see the water. We had an issue with parking because the neighbors brought a trailer and pickup and parked them against the wall right behind us, making it hard to back up and get out. There was no extra toilet paper and we were not told to bring extra. How expensive is toilet paper?

The location was great, the beach was great, the space was adequate, but because of the stairs and nitnoys, I would not return

Owner's Response: We take pride in providing a wonderful experience for all our guests and as our reviews indicate, we are very successful in doing just that. Not sure why the guest had problems getting into the door - we send detailed instructions and our guests rarely have any difficulties and when they do, they usually call us and we are able to talk them through it. After the stay the guest contacted me and told me he was told the unit was pet free (which is not true we have always been pet friendly and our listing advertises this). He actually read a listing to me to prove we were not pet friendly but it was not even for our unit - I believe it was somewhere he had previously stayed and he confused it with ours. Not sure why he could not adjust the temperature on the thermostat. Never mentioned it to us. The parking lot at our complex is narrow but we have no control over where other folks guests park - we have designated parking spaces for our units that are clearly marked. As for running out of toilet paper - both bathrooms in the unit are supplied with one new unopened roll of toilet paper when the guests arrive. Prior to arrival, we send an email to all guests with additional information about what is provided (among other things) and this is specifically mentioned - this information is also posted in the unit. I mentioned this to the guest when speaking to him after his stay and he told me he doesn't check his email very often. Our ad clearly states we have stairs in our unit. We have 2BRs and a bath upstairs and a bedroom and bath on the main floor. I guess you can't please everyone.

Awesome townhome!

Awesome townhome! Right on the beach and close to Pier Park. We loved that we got to bring our two dogs and take them swimming near the pier. They loved the beach! The townhome was very nice and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The only thing that would make it awesome is maybe another couch or love seat to accompany everyone comfortably when we weren't on the beach. Very awesome. Would absolutely book again!!
