We were very pleased with this condo. Everything was very nice, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and pillows. Would definitely return to this unit. We are already planning our next trip.

Beach Life

This is an excellent condo to stay in at Gulf Shores! Plenty of room. We were very comfortable in our bedrooms, plenty of storage for our clothes. Bathrooms were very nice. Kitchen is stocked with all that you need to prepare meals. Besides some of the ropes and construction going on at the property the ocean views were wonderful. We would have enjoyed being able to use the hot tub, but it and the outside pool were not opened. Well the hot tub was if you wanted to climb over plywood to get to it. Over all this was a great place to stay and we had a great week!

Nice Unit -Terrible amenities!

As we are driving down the boulevard searching for the property, we see a complex that is under renovation in the distance. My initial thought is, boy I sure hope that that is not our building! Well, sure enough, we pull into the complex that has scaffolding, tarps, and parking cones everywhere. We make our way under the building into the lower section to unload our belongings at the only elevator in the whole building! As we begin to unload, we are greeted by a security guard that informs us that we will have to park wherever we can find a spot. There are no reserved spots available because the entire 3rd floor of the parking garage and all the parking at the front of the building parking is coned off. He said we can park across the street if we can't find any open spots! Really? Across the street? I paid for a reserved SPOT! He then begins to tell us that there is only ONE functioning elevator in the whole building! Now, keep in mind that there are only two to begin with, so dropping that down to one, is reducing the elevator service in half! Now also keep in mind that we are on the 13th floor with one functioning elevator! NICE!

As we wait for the elevator and finally make it to our room, we are greeted with a pretty nice unit overall....except for the mechanical scaffolding hanging outside our balcony, side, and front windows! Each and every morning we were greeted with workers hanging outside our unit at 7 a.m. with hammer drills, hammers, and chisels pounding away at the exterior stucco on this building! Some mornings, my 12 and 18 year old daughters were also greeted with creepy men staring at them through the windows at 7 in the morning! NOT COOL!

To top off the wonderful experience that we had at this building, the outdoor pool and hot tub were tarped off and not functioning because of the renovation. The hot tub opened up at night when the workers left for the day, but the surroundings around the pool was less than impressive!

My biggest complaint about the stay is not with the unit, but with the building overall. I booked this vacation back in December for a stay the 2nd week in March. Not at one time did anyone disclose that there was going to be any type of renovation going on during our stay! If I had known that this was a possibility, I would have never booked the room! Because of this lack of disclosure, I am giving a poor overall rating.

Beautiful Place to stay

We had the absolute BEST vacation and I cant wait to come back. This is definitely the place I want to stay again. Beautiful Condo, Clean, Stocked and Comfy Beds. Location is wonderful and the owners were GREAT.
