Carefully selected site at Seascape. Stand in the Living Room or Kitchen and stare past the beautiful pond, 14th fairway, fish stocked lake to the ocean where you can see the boats go by. Peaceful amongst the lush grooming of a top notch golf course, it is a short stroll down to the exciting beach where the newly rebuilt Whales Tale will make you a fresh fish sandwich.
This unit has been well maintained. Amenities, facilities, convenience, comfort and style were the themes behind making this property one of the truly best rentals available.
Minutes to the largest factory outlet mall in the US, minutes to Destin Commons for the boutiques while still close to the beach. It doesn't get any better for vacationing. Pull up in your car, walk up and sit on the large porch sipping a cool refresher while you decide what to take advantage of next. Sitting on the balcony, you are part the scene but have the security of being on the second floor.
Master bedroom with Kingsize Bed, 37"LCD TV, ensuite bathroom, double closets. Second bedroom with Double over Double and plenty of room to move with another Bathroom with bathtub. Open concept living room, dining room and kitchen with 55"LCD TV and water views.

When we found Destin, we knew this was the place. The fact that everything you could want is just minutes away and the beauty of the Emerald Coast. Hey, its "the Luckiest fishing village in the World". We have lived in Bermuda and travelled a fair bit so we know a great beach when we see it! This is our vacation destination and we treat it that way! Its top notch, and we value sharing the cost with renters to maintain this truly perfect holiday spot. The color of the water, the sunsets, shopping, golfing, fishing, It has the same things as many other places but truly has the best of breed in each category. As the vacation destination of good 'ole southern folk, the people are pretty dang friendly too!
There is something truly magical about this location. The layering of being on the edge of the gold course with it's perfectly manicured lawn and gardens, the pond and fish stocked lake back dropped by the "squeaky" beach and ocean add up to wonderful. Sit on the covered porch with a breeze or even during a storm rolling in and you will see the difference. The fine details make the difference when picking an accommodation.
We are just completing our 3 month "winter rental" and wanted to write a recommendation for the unit.
The unit is in wonderful shape and has a great location. The view from the deck is outstanding and the beach and pools are close by. I would recommend the unit for rentals any time of the year. Phil is wonderful to work with and will make your stay one to remember. The appliances are all new, great for cooking meals with family and friends. The bedrooms are all updated and comfortable. We are returning next winter and am pleased to provide a strong recommendation.

Phil helped make this a trip of a lifetime!! Our family loved the well-appointed details throughout. A great kitchen that flowed into a comfortable dining and family room area. The rooms and beds were large and the 2 bathrooms were a bonus! The deck was great for morning coffee and there was ample room for all of us. Phil was easy to access and he did a great job of communicating with us for the whole trip. He even allowed us to add an extra day past our initial reservation which was very helpful! Would stay here again without hesitation!
We really enjoyed staying at this condo! It's a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a great view (from the large deck) of the ocean, golf course, and lake. All of the bathrooms and kitchen have been updated and it was very clean. There are 2 kinds of coffee makers (regular and Keurig style).
The owner, Phil Cole, was great to work with. To be honest, I was a little hesitant about sending him a check directly as I usually use a credit card when booking through VRBO. But we did some research and found out he is indeed the owner through the Walton County, Florida property tax records. So this ended up being a non-issue. Phil emailed us as soon as the check was received. He let us bring our dog for no additional fee and he made sure we had an extra parking pass available at check-in for our extra car.
There are 5 swimming pools in Seascape as well as tennis courts, bike rentals, and a quick walk to the beach. If you don't want to walk, or drive to the private parking area directly across from the beach, there is also a Seascape bus that will pick you up for free and drive you over to the beach and all around the property. Close by, there are tons of restaurants and the outlet mall is just a few miles away. There's plenty to do in the area.
If I had to criticize anything, I wish the master bed was a little softer as I am used to a pillowtop mattress, but it was fine.
My family of 5 spent five great nights in this condo. The condo was very clean and had plenty of fresh, fluffy towels. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils. Our beds were comfortable, and we all slept well after spending long days at the gorgeous beaches! Our 3 children (ages 11, 10, & 8) enjoyed the bunk bed room. Both bedrooms had ample closet space as well as dressers for our clothes. We liked the fact that we were in a 2 story condo rather than a high rise this time. It was nice to NOT have to ride up to the 17th floor with our groceries or luggage. There was a hose at the back of our unit where we could rinse our feet and sandy items before heading upstairs. The beach is a quick walk away. Some days, we drove down to the parking lot right across from Whale's Tail, and then walked across to the beach. However, this area is largely filled with rental chairs and umbrellas. We preferred to drive our car about 2 blocks West toward Pompano Joe's and park in that public lot. It was much easier for us to walk right down those steps and find a quieter stretch of beach to sink our toes in the sand. Either way, you can't go wrong! Phil, the owner, was very pleasant to work with. He was very prompt to reply to any questions/concerns I had, and also answered my "tourist" questions. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
We stayed at this condo for 4 nights. The owner was great to work with, he responded right away with any questions I had prior to booking. The condo was clean and was decorated nicely! It had everything we needed....cooking utensils, pots and pans, towels, linens, etc. The Kuerig was great for morning coffee!! The view was nice and it was a short walk to the beach!! We enjoyed our stay here!!!
