Owners extensive Plain-Air art collection includes paintings by Mark Kerkhoff and Werner Seeholtzer and Modern artwork by Chris Westergaard. Mid Century furnishings abound both inside and out.

There are two separate bedroom wings allowing for plenty of privacy. The Master wing contains a large bedroom featuring a California king size bed, a 42” flat screen HDTV and a bathroom with modern dual vanities. The shower has two shower heads, three body sprays and a shower wand. Three operable windows open to the back yard. There is plenty of usable drawers, a clothing armoire and ceiling fan. The Master Bedroom also contains a stackable washer/dryer behind hidden doors. Large East facing windows overlooking the front pool area also provides access to the outside. Watch amazing desert sunrises from bed!

The second wing contains a second Master Bedroom with a queen size bed, a ceiling fan and walls of glass opening onto the patio and pool area. This bedroom allows for perfect mountain views and amazing sunsets. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a limestone countertop plus a whirlpool tub and shower. An operable window looks out onto the lovely side private garden. The third guest bedroom features twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower panel with multiple shower heads and body sprays. This bedroom is carpeted. A door to the private side garden area with a table and two chairs complements this twin bedroom. All 3 bedrooms have vaulted ceilings with recessed lighting, ceiling fans and outdoor access. All 3 bathrooms have all been carefully updated with contemporary cabinetry, fixtures and custom travertine flooring and all bathrooms have operable windows for fresh air. Flat screen televisions in both Master bedrooms, the Media Room and Kitchen. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan for individual comfort. The house has dual heating and air conditioning systems, dual swamp coolers as well as dual water heaters. Bedroom #2 and #3 now have instant hot water heater. All bedrooms have outdoor access.

The living room has a vaulted ceiling with recessed lighting and multiple sets of glass doors opening onto the patio and pool area extending the seamless integration of the indoor/outdoor feeling. There is also a gas fire and ice fireplace surrounded by beautiful floor-to-ceiling stacked stone and a limestone hearth for warm, cozy, intimate winter nights. The living room and much of the house features slate tile floors. Off the living room is a Media Room including a 50-inch plasma TV, DVD player and built-in surround sound for the ultimate movie watching experience. Wine Refrigerator located in home theater room along with a ceiling fan. A door in the Media Room leads to a private outdoor garden with seating area.

There is also the ability to separately play music throughout much of the house and the outdoor spaces with built-in speakers and volume controls in each area. A DISH satellite system also with speakers thoughtout the home, and wireless internet are provided. Professionally designed contemporary furnishings with Plein Air and contemporary artwork are found throughout the house. The media room is carpeted. Seperate volume controls for music are located in the Media Room, Living Room, outdoor pool area, kitchen and Master Bedroom.

The fully-equipped kitchen was also updated in 2010. Caesarstone countertops, custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances including a professional style 5 burner range, an Electrolux ICON French style refrigerator w/ freezer on the bottom, a BOSCH Dishwasher with three drawers and a built-in microwave. Just about everything you could possibly need is provided. All pots and pans. Large and small appliances are included as well as all dishes and silverware.Two coffee makers including a Keurig coffeemaker and a Mr. Coffee. Gas BBQ.

The kitchen conveniently opens onto the indoor dining room w/ seating for 6. The dining room features a large bright french doors that open onto the rear patio with outdoor dining for 6. This backyard dining area also has a gas BBQ and beautiful covered shaded canvas 'sales'. This backyard is private. Just about everything you could possibly need is provided. There is a separate wine refrigerator in the media room.

Extensive Agave Gardens with six Palo Verde trees on the side and back yards offer a prefect place to read or catch up. Mature gardens with lush butterfly and hummingbird landscaping surrounds the home. A private Plumeria Garden. Two fountains in the back bringing the sound of water throughout the home. Fantastic property with private yard!

We had a fantastic time in PS and Tom's home helped make it great. Wonderful layout, very private yards (front & rear), pool and spa well maintained and perfect for what we were looking for. Tom goes to the extreme to make sure you have everything needed to feel at home - kitchen is fully stocked for cooking including a spice rack, oil, etc and of course all utensils and all pots/pans. Tons of towels and soaps. Tom even has a great "places to see book" and dining suggestions list he provides in addition to two bikes to use.

Tom was very responsive to all our questions leading up to the rental and thru arrival / departure. His property manager, also named Tom, was great as well - showing us the entire home and all operation instructions for pool, stereo system, gate - everything! Our only wish was a bit softer bed in the master; good bed just a bit firm for our liking. We'll definitely look to rent from Tom again!

A great home in the perfect location.

The attention to detail is not missing here. First, we had a couples weekend and when arrived the pool was immaculate, the landscaping was a WOW and when entering the house, I thought I was on the set for Madmen. Impeccably furnished. You can’t imagine how much we appreciated the notebooks for dining suggestions and instructions for the A/V equipment. Anything we could have needed was there. Tom you are a great host!

My wife and I celebrated our Anniversary in Palm Springs and this home was IDEAL! The home is impeccably maintained and SUPER PRIVATE. The landscaping and pool area are an excellent excuse to just stay there all day!

The location is perfect for easy access to all downtown restaurants and we were able to use the bikes on site to ride into town and enjoy all that Palm Springs has to offer.

The furnishings and amenities are top notch and Tom is quick to everything. This was a great experience and we are already planning our return trip to rent it again!

Sisters Birthday Getaway

This house was the perfect place for my sisters and I to meet and celebrate our birthdays. Palm Springs has so much to offer and this house is perfectly located - close to the airport, downtown restaurants and movie theaters. But once we saw the beautiful pool and grounds we were happy to just hang around the house.

The house is as beautiful as the pictures. It was very clean and well stocked. We were met by Tom Ritchie, Property Manager, and given a quick tour. He made us feel very comfortable and then left us alone.

Tom Stearns is so easy to work with - he followed up promptly on all our questions and concerns and even checked in with us via email upon our arrival. We hope to make Palm Springs an annual trip and will definitely stay at this property again.

This house is exactly what the pictures show. It comes fully stocked in kitchen bathrooms and bedrooms. Normally I always pack extras because the houses don't have everything. This house had it all. I usually am ready to go home after 3 or 4 days missing my house etc. but I was here for 5 nights and my family nor I wanted to leave. We have already looked into reserving it again. It is definitely a home away from home. We lived how secluded it was like our private oasis. All the windows overlooking awesome landscaping and gated driveway felt like our own little world. The entertainment system surround sound was out of this world and for the non tech savvy it was easy to use. Excellent instructions everywhere on how it all worked. Everyone was so nice from cleaning ladies to pool people to gardeners to Owner and property manager. Checking on us and offering events and news etc. the kitchen is amazing and all the bathrooms have showers that you won't want to get out of. The backyard is like a maze of interesting nooks and crannies of waterfalls, gardens seatings, etc. I recommended it to several people on day one who have already tried to book it and it's filled up so please book early. Thanks so much Tom!
