This is my mother's second home. She enjoys her other home in Clemmons, NC. I am a local Tampa Realtor with Keller Williams South Tampa and a member of the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors.
Leslie Sibbitt purchased this cottage in 2007
My mother wanted to have a home in Tampa so she could be near me. She lives in North Carolina part of the year near my sister.
This home offers a peaceful, secure and stylish setting, yet is just minutes away from everything Tampa Bay has to offer.
Thank you all so much for the use of your lovely cottage. It was perfect for our needs and VERY peaceful!
I really enjoyed my stay in Tampa at Leslie's cottage. I was staying for the month while working at University of South Florida. One of the underated things about this location for my situation was that traveling north to USF while most of the rush hour traffic is going the opposite direction made it quite easy to get to work, and vice versa in the evening. The neighborhood seemed very safe, and the house is tucked away on a small alley. The backyard is beautiful and we really enjoyed just sitting outside and reading. The house is completely stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need as well. I highly recommend this property and I would definitely stay again.
My daughter and I were in Tampa for her to have some medical treatments . The cottage was very nicely decorated with comfortable beds and a lovely screened porch . It was so nice to " come home to " in the afternoons . The management staff was excellent and even helped us with the remote to the TV. I would highly recommend !!
Very pleased with our stay at this cozy little cottage! Quiet neighborhood, close to downtown and good eats. The cottage itself was clean, well stocked and so peaceful to relax and enjoy our stay. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to enjoy the peacefulness of this wonderful cottage!
My husband and I stayed for 6 nights and everything was great. There were plenty of things that made it a home away from home. It was a quiet neighborhood and felt safe. It was about a 30 minute drive to Clearwater Beach (which is worth the drive). The house is located what felt like in the middle of everywhere we went. I would recommend this rental to any of my friends and family as well as stay there again.

Owner was very pleasant and helpful. We definitely will return. Kitchen was fully stocked and easy to work in. Loved the outdoor area and screened in seating. Good, secure parking for our two cars.
We are a middle-aged German/Swiss couple that stayed 56 nights (Mar/Apr) in this lovely cottage. It sticks to its Property Description and we can only reiterate what has been already aptly expressed in some of the positive reviews below: Well-kept and situated in a nice, quiet neighborhood, this is a comfortable and cozy home that delights you with a very pretty garden and that comes with all the amenities that make for a pleasant stay.
Downtown Tampa and major highways (e.g. I-275, I-4) are within a few miles' distance. While Tampa’s touristic value may be somewhat limited, it is easy to get away and reach the exquisite beaches of St. Pete or Pass-a-grille (35 mins) or visit State Parks near Hillsborough River or Weeki Wachee (35 mins and 60 mins, respectively) for hiking and canoeing.
If we came back to Tampa, we would not hesitate for a moment to choose this accommodation again.
The 2.5 mile scenic River Walk is about 3/4 of a mile from this home. Rent bikes or walk down this beautiful pedestrian path along the Hillsborough River. It will take you right through downtown Tampa and past the Glazer Children's Museum, The Straz Performing Arts Center and the Tampa Museum of Art.
