Photos and Description of this 1 bedroom holiday cabin in Eucha - Laketime Retreat

Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing get away, then we have what you are looking for. We call our cabins LAKETIME RETREAT. Our months of operation are March 15th-October 15th We are located in the residential neighborhood of Cherokee Lake Estates. We are at the south end of Grand Lake just ten minutes from Langley, Oklahoma near the Pensacola Dam. The address of Laketime Retreat is 400 Kiawa Rd, Eucha, Okla. 74342. The Grand Lake area is famous for fishing, boating, swimming, off roading, and beautiful sunsets. At the cabin you have access to a dock across the street for swimming, fishing or parking your boat or jet skis With a gentle slope to the water, the lake is at your fingertips. A large beach area for swimming with smooth river rock is provided. . A boat ramp is just two blocks away. With it's beautiful oak walls and ceiling you will know that you are on vacation. This cabin has one bedroom with a queen size bed. It also has a full sized futon with a nice thick mattress. The kitchen has a new full sized refrigerator and is fully stocked with dishes, plates, silverware, glasses and cookware. The bathroom has a full size tub/shower. We have a flat screen tv/dvd with satellite reception. The cabin is fully air-conditioned. Outside, in front of the cabin you will find a picnic table with an umbrella and a charcoal grill. Combine all of this with a nice view of the lake and a fire pit and what more could you ask for. For more info and directions with a map, please check out our website listed below in the 'links' section.

In August of 2010 we purchased the house directly across the street from this listing. It is VRBO Listing #316256. We are calling it 'Laketime Cottage'. This gives us the flexibility to serve more guests (20+). It is directly on the water and has a large dock with a swim ladder for LAKETIME guests use. Check it out and give us a call. We will show you what we can do.

There are many things that you can do while enjoying your stay with us. What we work real hard to do is to offer a relaxing stay in clean surroundings to serve as a home base for the many recreational activities Grand Lake has to offer. Whether your cup of tea is just sitting around the campfire roasting smores or blasting across the lake on your jet ski or boat, Grand Lake is just the place. We have a pedal boat you are welcome to use in our quiet cove. We also have several neat areas to swim and fish just 2 minutes from your door. If this cabin is not enough room, we have others. For more information, give us a call. You will be glad you did. Let us help you make a memory. 'LIKE' US ON FACEBOOK

About Ron Scheips

Your hosts are Ron and Diane Scheips.

After spending a vacation on Grand Lake about ten years ago we purchased property and began building our retirement home. For several years we drove from Wellington, Kansas while completing our home. At construction time we decided we wanted to share the Grand Lake experience with others and added on so that we would be able to accommodate friends and family in a relaxing atmosphere. We also have other cabins available. Thank you for visiting our listing, and we hope to hear from you soon. Ron and Diane Scheips

Why Ron Scheips chose Lake O' the Cherokees

We chose this area of Grand Lake for the location. We are in a residential area yet close to lake activities and we have a great view of the lake. The location also provides us easy access to shopping, restaurants and things we need to carry on daily activities.

What makes this cabin unique

Some of the unique benefits you will enjoy include open campfires in our fire pit, we provide the firewood. Swing sets and dock are just a few steps from your cabin.

This place was amazing. The hosts were very friendly and would do anything in their means to make your stay a good time. The lake, docks, and surrounding area has many things to do we stayed 4 days and could have stayed forever but reality called us back. Will most definitely return to lake time retreat again

Easy Livin'!

The cottage was unavailable, so we rented cabin #1 and #2. The accommodations were clean, cozy, and restful. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. They even offered to take us on a boat ride. The area was quiet with a great cove and swimming dock. We will be back!

Awesome

Called & got 8 of us in their cabins when no tent camp sites were available. Ron & Diane are very friendly & willing to help us have a good vacation after a long drive. They had no problems with 4 young children & 2 small dogs. If you're looking for a peaceful & affordable place to stay close to the lake this is the place to go.

Always a great time.

  • 5 of 5

I can't imagine having better hosts than Ron and Diane. When they are around, they are willing to help out with any need. We, along with friends and family, rented the whole retreat this time and it was so much fun. When one of the smoke alarms was beeping, I told Ron and he had the batteries changed within about 5 minutes, even though they were fixing to go out for dinner! Ron also took us for an enjoyable night time boat ride. Our friends rented a jet ski and we paid for gas. Plus, the kids swam and fished off the dock, enjoyed the pedal boat and fire pit for roasting hot dogs and s'mores. We also took our boat out so the kids could go tubing. I always think we will go to Pensacola for the tour of the damn or to Little Blue Disney State Park...but we can't seem to find enough time. Also, the little pebble beach was just perfect for our 2 yr old grandson to sit and experience the water with his family. Thanks so much Ron and Diane! We're already planning another visit!
