Delightful, well apppinted studio apartment

  • 5 of 5

From the outset communications from Mario were excellent. Instructions re airport transfer and our guide were clear. Our guide, Mimi, met us at the boat landing point and took us to the apartment. She gave us some really good tips and local information, and was on hand if required throughout our stay.

The apartment is in a quiet location, but just a few minutes walk from Piazza St Marco. There are numerous restaurants close by, and a bit cheaper than some located closer to the centre. The local supermarket is about a 5 min walk, and is well stocked.

We wouldn't hesitate renting this apartment on any future returns to Venice, and would certainly recommend it to any of our friends if visiting Venice.

Many thanks for helping make our first visit to Venice a memorable one.

"Once Great always Great"

  • 5 of 5

We came back to Venice after two years and could not pass up the chance to rent this loft again.

Every thing you could want in a special place. This is close to every thing that you need to visit Venice.

The best part is when you open up the window of this third level loft and have the sites and sounds in front of you.

A great stay, thanks again Michael & Francine.

Lovely, comfy, and wonderfully convenient

  • 5 of 5

We were in town for the Biennale and couldn't have been happier with the accommodation. The convenience of being so central without being caught in the madness of St. Marks. Located in a sweet little tucked-away neighborhood with several notable restaurants right at the doorstep: "Local" & "Osteria Oliva Nera" were particularly good. Highly recommend a stay in this studio for a home-away-from-home.

Awesome Experience

  • 5 of 5

Our first trip to Venice - such a great city. Took a water bus from the cruise terminal and met our guide, who showed us to the Studio. The Studio is near St. Marks, but far enough away to be very private. There is an great Oysteria, pizza, gelato and a fruit and vegetable stand on the street below the Studio. A very complete grocery store is just a few minutes away, so we cooked a few meals. The kitchen has everything you might need. The photographs are a very good representation of the space - it exceeded our expectations.

Nice and perfectly locared!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this nice apartment for 11 days in September 2016. Mario, the owner with whom we communicated through e-mails was easy to deal with and promt to respond to all our questions. The loft is exactly as the pictures. It is easy to access when arriving from the airport or the train station as it is closed to the San Zaccaria vaporetto stop where we were met by the guide. We really enjoyed walking by San Marco everyday or going on the pier to watch the sunset and the activities on the canal.

The apartment is on the top floor of the building, it is quiet, bright, clean and spacious. The bed is confortable and the air conditioning is efficient. It was fun going the Punto grocery stores at about 4 minutes walk to buy local food and wines to prepare some meals in the apartment's well equipped kitchen. The appartment is located near a small canal on Salizzada Dei Greici where you will find several little shops, good restaurants ( Trattoria Da Denis, Local, Oliva Nera), a pastry, a pharmacy, and a take out pizzeria. Yet, it is quiet as the restaurants and shops closed early and there were no loud music. We are very happy and satisfied to have chosen this apartment.

Car: not necessary

The apartment is centrally located, walking distance from main Venetian attractions. If you will not need specific far attractions once you arrive at the apartment you will not need to use any transportation.

The apartment is on the way which runs from St. Mark Square to the Biennale Pavilions.

Art, restaurants, coffe shop and supermarkets are close to the apartment's ground door.
