About the property

Single Family, 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Do you long for the sounds of a rambling river to lull you into tranquility? Then this Estes Park rental is just what the "doctor" ordered for a relaxing experience that will create memories to last a lifetime.

As you enter this condo, your eyes will be captured by the 20 ft. floor to ceiling views that will take your breath away. Upon looking closer, you will be amazed at how all the windows from every angle on the first floor bring the mountain beauty of the outside inside. Solid oak wood floors add warmth and coziness along with the paneled wood doors found throughout the condo. From the patio off the family room, your mind will be soothed by the sounds of the Big Thompson River and the view of Longs Peak and the Front Range. Fishing in the Big Thompson River is only 15 ft. off this deck that also has a gas grill with comfortable patio furniture.

Inside, the gourmet kitchen has rough hewn granite counter tops with stainless steel appliances. A breakfast bar has room for 2. A tile back splash compliments the kitchen decor. Eating at the wood table in the dining area that comfortably seats six will be a relaxing experience as the floor to ceiling windows draw in the outside view of the river and the rocky foothills surrounding this condo.

The family room will beckon you to come and sit in the leather sofa or chair where you can relax in front of the stone gas fireplace. A large flat-screen TV is available for your enjoyment.

At the day's end, a large master bedroom on the first floor awaits you with a King bed and a calming view of the river and mountains. The walk-in closet provides space for all your belongings. Walking into the master bath, you will be impressed as you notice the tile floors and counter tops with walk-in shower.

Completing the first floor is a half bath and a room with a washer and dryer.

As you walk upstairs, you will notice that the view continues into the sitting area where a pool table awaits those who enjoy the challenge of a good pool game.

Behind you is another bedroom with a queen bed that has a relaxing view of the surrounding foothills. Bedroom #3 has a beautiful wooden queen sleigh bed with additional views of the river and mountains. Included in this upper level is a blow-up bed where two guests can comfortably sleep. A slate tiled bath with glass enclosed shower and tub completes the remainder of the second floor.

Come vacation in peace and quiet. Drink in the ambiance.

It's just waiting for you and just 5 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park!!

Guestbook comments from the manager

Our family LOVED this rental and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were there for our daughter’s wedding that took place at the YMCA. There were a total of 50 people there for the wedding and can say that any of the family that was able to see our rental were very jealous of our location with the great view and also the space we had with this rental. A lot of the other relatives places were a lot smaller. This rental was very open and roomy.

We were very satisfied with all aspects of the rental and our stay at Estes. The sound of the river and the surrounding setting made it very hard to leave. We will definitely be coming back to Estes in the future and if available, this is where we will book again.

Luxury and natural beauty

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful experience staying in this townhouse... except for one thing, which I will get to. First of all, the home itself is lovely - beautiful finishes and design, great layout, all the modern amenities. And the views? Stunning. The huge windows frame a pristine, forested mountainside with a horse ranch at its base and Longs Peak beyond. And of course the Big Thompson River right outside the back door. The setting could not be more idyllic. The night we arrived the wifi wasn't working, which is a big thing for us because we have to work even while on vacation, but someone came out and worked late into the night trying to figure it out and finally went and brought a modem from his own home so we could get connected. So that was great. However, a couple days later we woke up to someone pounding repeatedly on the front door early in the morning. When we answered it, somewhat concerned, the guy glumly goes, "We've got a problem." Turns out there was just an issue with my second reservation check. The details don't matter; it was a simple, honest mistake, and one that was very easily and quickly resolved, and one that could have been brought up a couple weeks prior. The way that was handled seemed quite tacky and unprofessional, and sort of ticked us off, as we work late and wanted a full night's sleep to enjoy our vacation to the fullest. I hope that was a fluke thing that doesn't represent the way they conduct business because, like I said, everything else was fantastic, and I would love to stay there again. I didn't want to leave! We adored Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Owner's Response: I am happy that these renters enjoyed the house. The issue here was that we did not receive payment from the renters by the time they arrived, as called out in our agreement. They should have completed payment 30 days before they arrived. We tried to reach them by email and phone over the 30 days prior to their arrival. Unfortunately, they did not respond at any time before they arrived.

This is the fourth time we have stayed here. We absolutely love it; location, environment, facilities. We know it's a winner when our kids ask to come back. Thank you for making this home feel like ours and sharing it with us.

Our Favorite Escape

  • 5 of 5

We love the town of Estes Park, consider it our home and staying in Tranquility on the River 3 is our home during our adventure! Between wildlife, the weather, the river running...always a chance to slow down, breathe, and take it all in. The staff at E P Central is awesome, always there for the guests and just a phone call away. We are always at home in Estes, thank you E P Central for making another stay great!!

Our Second Home

  • 5 of 5

Estes Park is our "home away from home" and Tranquility on the River 3 completes the package! Wildlife never fails us as we watched elk and deer come right up to the windows. Of course the pool table keeps some friendly family competition going throughout our stay. RMNP is just a quick trip from the house so we are back and forth during our entire stay. I love just to sit on the back porch and listen to the Big Thompson and take in what is "Estes Park." E P Central takes good care of us each and every time we come up. Tranquility 3 has been our choice every single time we come up and it will be again....can't wait for our next vacation up there!!!
