Then, using the “send email” button on the right under “Owner”, fill in the text fields and inquire about anything else and submit. You will receive the Rental Agreement along with a complete layout of the costs via email for the period you requested. We lived in this home for 10 years and continue to take good care of it. The location and 'feel of the house' is just so good, we couldn't part with it. I am a geohydrologist with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, working on the adjudication of water rights for Indian Tribes in the Bureau's Southwest Region (New Mexico and Arizona). We have lived in 'The Land of Entrapment' (Land of Enchantment) since 1985. Be careful, if you stay too long, you may not want to leave.
Tony Zimmerman purchased this house in 1992
This is a lovely home in a great location. We love traveling between Albuquerque and Santa Fe so this was a very convenient spot for us. The home felt very private, we loved sitting out on the back deck just enjoying the surroundings, and we really loved the hot tub in the evenings. We did fix a few meals and the kitchen is a good size and had everything we needed. Tony was fabulous to work with, he responded very quickly to all my questions and he made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again. We did have 7 adults on this trip and I will say it was kind of tight for all the adults. It would be perfect for 2 couples or a family with small children.
Thank you for everything Tony!
We had a wonderful time at this vacation rental. As others have said this place is quite, clean, and secluded. Even though the neighbors are close you don't even know they are there because of where the house is located. We spent many a morning on the deck just sitting back drinking our coffee and enjoying the singing of the birds. If we needed anything or had a question Tony was readily available to assist us.
Great location outside Albuquerque and very private. Tony was kind and helpful and readily available for any questions we had about the area. The place was clean and cozy. We hope to come again.
Everything was great, owner was very accommodating with me and my girl only staying one night, place was very well stocked with anything you could possibly need. More towels than you could shake a stick at for instance. Place was clean and the kitchen was LOADED. Hot tub house was clean and worked just fine. The House is super cozy and the fireplace is nice and generates a lot of heat.
Would be a 4 star review as i am a Picky reviewer but when Paypal decided to mess up my deposit return Mr. Zimmerman was very professional and helped me with the problem almost immediately.
If you need a cute little house for a couple of days would highly recommend.
We live in Southern, NM and wanted to get away for a couple of days. This was the perfect home for us. It was close enough to the city, yet in the mountains. Of course my daughter and her friend were very pleased when they saw the hot tub. This house has everything you need to make your trip comfortable; videos, books, amenities, everything! The house was clean and comfortable. The owner told us of a great walking trail up Sandia Mountains, which we did. I would highly recommend this house next time you're in the area. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and is very private.
We arrived and were shown the amenities and fenced in dog features. I was taken on a short hike with the owner so that I could see where to start local hikes (across the street the development ended in a road-less natural area with pinon pines, alligator juniper and lots of cactus). The cabin is quite private and quiet, with a covered front porch, and larger back porch with a Jacuzzi. It had snowed, and we shared the back porch with a snowman. The cabin is modernly furnished with wireless, cable TV and lots of kitchen appliances. A library with a terrific selection of books could keep someone busy for months. We will probably return in the not too distant future.

Rental rates vary depending on the number of days rented, which days of the week, whether is a holiday season or not, the number of people staying, etc. This website's mechanism for inputting the rates is designed to enable them to provide you an automatic quote. However, the mechanism used is more constrained and less flexible than my complicated spreadsheet formulas and the automatic quote is therefore APPROXIMATE.
There are basically two rates, low season and high season. Low season is $148/nt, $756/wk while High season is $163/nt, $810/wk. Spring Break is an average of low and high. Multiple-night discounts start a 3 nights or more. Rates are for four people or less; slight surcharge for additional people. Similarly for cleaning fee.
Best to fill out the "instant quote" box in order to send the inquiry and I will promptly reply with an accurate quote.
