Great family townhouse - location perfect for Plaza and Skiing

The pictures don't really do this townhouse justice. Ft. Marcy is centrally located and within easy walking distance of the Plaza (a 10 minute walk, with a little uphill on the way home). We parked our car and didn't use it to go into town at all (family of 4, kids 11 and 8). Additionally, it's on the same road as you take to go skiing, making it easy to get to Ski Santa Fe in no time. There is plenty of parking, depending on which parking lot you use, only a few steps down/up with your bags. The 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths are great for families. The townhouse had plenty of basic supplies. The ground floor kitchen and living area is spacious, open and very comfortable. The kitchen has all the utensils/pot/pans you might want. The owners were incredibly helpful with the planning and giving us advice re: skiing logistics, etc. We would happily return to this location.

Santa Fe visit early July 2017

We spent four days in this beautiful condo and enjoyed every minute of it. The downstairs kitchen, dining area and sitting room were large enough to accommodate all of us with our extra luggage. The half bath downstairs was a definite plus. The upstairs bedrooms and baths suited our needs. The condo is about a 10 minute downhill walk from the plaza (15 minutes return as it is uphill) and across the street from the Cross of the Martyrs park. We visited the Folk Art Museum, traveled to Abiquiu to visit Georgia Okeeffe's house and then went to the Ghost Ranch. We even got a short hike on the Dale Ball Trails. We watched fireworks from the sidewalks and enjoyed some fine wine on the balcony sitting area. Enjoyed walking and shopping in the plaza.

Terrific comfortable suite

We stayed in this great suite with our 3 kids (10, 8 and 6). It is walking distance from Fort Marcy Park, a short drive to great hiking in Hyde Park and a 10 minute walk into town. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is easy to cook in for lunch and dinner. The owner was responsive with questions as well. The highly recommend it!

Great location, comfy retreat

Our family enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable Ft. Marcy condo. We loved being able to walk into town but also have a quiet space where we sat on the little deck with the trees and bushes to view. Ft. Marcy Park is just steps away, where you can hang out or picnic; it's also a great way to avoid street walking into town. When not eating in restaurants, we cooked for all six of us. The kitchen is nicely supplied, including some basic cooking ingredients such as oil, sugar, and flour. Our beds were comfortable, including the sleeper sofa in the living room for the boys to share. We all agreed that we would return when visiting Santa Fe. Highly recommended!

Perfect for our family

This property was a great fit for our family of 5 (kids ages 17, 14, 10). It is nicely updated and clean, with a relaxing upstairs balcony. The short (less than 10 min) walk to the plaza was perfect for us. The complex is located on a hill above town, so it could be a challenging walk for some. It was great that we did not need to worry about parking a car in the busy plaza area. The only disappointment was that that the advertised hot tub seems to have been removed from the pool area, but the small indoor pool was clean and enjoyed by our 10 year old. We would definitely rent this unit again!
