About Alisa Esh

Jake and Becky and their nine children live about half an hour away from this house. We built our cape-cod home in 1990 and lived their until the fall of 2009 when we moved to Honey Brook for mission purposes. Our home is built on an acre of the family farm. The farm, still in the family, is owned by Jake's youngest brother and borders the back of the yard. Jake's parents live next door and maintain a lot of the home and it's grounds. Our favorite part of this home is the safe and peaceful neighborhood surrounded by Amish homes and farmland.

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a wonderful vacation we had at your guest house! Thanks so much for sharing it with our family of #11 plus one on the way. The house and yard were fully adequate. We enjoyed the tether ball, butterfly garden, sandbox, campfire, and climbing tree in the backyard. Couples enjoyed the swing on the front porch. This location is great! I hope to return.

God really blessed us through you and your family. One of our families went to the "Joseph" show. I have seen it twice. Steve has seen it once.

May God continue to wonderfully bless you and your family,

Great place for women’s weekend gathering

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a college girl friend and a few babies reunion. We were overall very pleased with the house. The table was big enough for us all and the living space was comfortable for us to sit and catch up. Overall, we only had two small complaints - there was only 1 dishwasher tab, and with 10 adults and 3 babies, we needed to go get some. Also, there were no paper towels or napkins in the house so we also had to get some of those. Overall we loved it though and would definitely consider staying again and would recommend it to others as well. Thank you!!

spacious, very clean and very pleasant

  • 5 of 5

"Alisa, I want to thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful home with me

and my family over the Easter vacation 3/30 - 4/02. First off we were

overwhelmed with how clean and orderly the property was upon our arrival. The

kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and there were plenty of

extra linens, pillows and blankets. The layout was perfect for us to assemble

together for meals and just plain socializing. We especially enjoyed sitting on

the front porch listening to and watching the buggies passing bye, so relaxing.

If possible we would like to return in the summer and again next Easter. Again,

our many thanks for a very enjoyable vacation. God bless you and your family.

Bill McManus"

Beautiful home and property! All three families had a great time!

  • 5 of 5

The property was exactly what we were looking for - spacious, large kitchen, many comfortable bedrooms, excellent play space for the kids, and plenty of room for relaxing inside and outside. We spent two nights here with six adults and 5 children under 5. We really could not have asked for a better weekend getaway.

Perfect for a large group

  • 5 of 5

We had 13 adults for our cousins weekend and had more than enough room to hang out and sleep. Everything in the house was perfect and as described. We would definitely stay here again!
