About Alisa Esh

Jake and Becky and their nine children live about half an hour away from this house. We built our cape-cod home in 1990 and lived their until the fall of 2009 when we moved to Honey Brook for mission purposes. Our home is built on an acre of the family farm. The farm, still in the family, is owned by Jake's youngest brother and borders the back of the yard. Jake's parents live next door and maintain a lot of the home and it's grounds. Our favorite part of this home is the safe and peaceful neighborhood surrounded by Amish homes and farmland.

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a wonderful vacation we had at your guest house! Thanks so much for sharing it with our family of #11 plus one on the way. The house and yard were fully adequate. We enjoyed the tether ball, butterfly garden, sandbox, campfire, and climbing tree in the backyard. Couples enjoyed the swing on the front porch. This location is great! I hope to return.

God really blessed us through you and your family. One of our families went to the "Joseph" show. I have seen it twice. Steve has seen it once.

May God continue to wonderfully bless you and your family,

Perfect for space

  • 5 of 5

We loved the space that the house provided...All of us were able to sleep comfortably & there was enough room for us to come together to watch a movie. Thank you for immediately fixing our DVD problem. The owners are so kind & friendly. The yard was well maintained. The only thing I think that could be better maintained is the little sand box out back. But all in all, i would definitely stay here again. Its not too far from the stores or activities. When you are here, you actually feel like you are home.

Relaxing week in the scenic Amish countryside!

  • 4 of 5

Having stayed in this same home previously, we were confident we'd have another great week. We were not let down. The huge backyard is great for kids to run and play as well as for a family cookout. Having a large family in the area, that was a blessing to get many of them together in one setting. The house was comfortable and well appointed. only a few minor things needed maintenance attention. Additionally, more recycle containers are necessary to accommodate 15 people, specifically in the heat of summer when a lot of liquids are consumed. Nonetheless, we totally enjoyed the week with our 3 kids, their spouses, and 8 grandchildren all making the trip from Florida.

Fabulous vacation house

  • 5 of 5

Our group of friends rented the Harvest Drive Guest House for the Memorial Day weekend. We were 15 people (including children) in our group and the house was spacious enough for all of us. The house had more than enough supply of linens and the kitchen was fully stacked with utensils. We had a great time at the house and the children especially had a whale of a time. The lush green backyard was the best highlight of the house. It was a breeze dealing with the owner, who was very accommodating of our requests.
