About this property

Cozy accommodation in old dairy, near the royal castles and castle ruins, living in nature, barbecues in the garden, an ideal starting point for hikes and mountain tours, good mountain bike trails and bike network, more than ten swimming lakes and Badeweiher in the immediate vicinity. It is the land of castles, mountains and lakes, the most beautiful corner of the Ostallgäu. Haus Egelsee is located, with a view of Neuschwanstein, in the middle of this Allgäu landscape.
The house has 2 apartments, both overlooking the beautiful mountain scenery. The nearby Egelsee (1 km) is located in the nature reserve, a nice walk!
A garden house with barbecue and football table, in the midst of the flower garden, is available to both units.
You can walk around the house with the sun throughout the day. In the east you can sit and sunbathe with a parasol available (also for breakfast), in the west you can also enjoy the sunset until the sunset.

Bei Peter & Lotte: Wo Hase und Fuchs sich gute Nacht sagen.

Positiv: Der Kontakt zu Peter und Lotte war unkompliziert und freundlich. Die Unterkunft ist einfach und zweckmäßig, dafür wird man (und Frau ;) ) mit einem spektakulären Ausblick belohnt. Wohin das Auge sieht sind Berge und Felder. Der Außenbereich ist liebevoll gestaltet und lädt mir Liegen und Tischen zum Verweilen ein. Mit etwas Glück sieht man in der Abenddämmerung Füchse, Dachse und Rehe. Ein Auto ist unabdingbar. Damit sind aber alle nahegelegenen Ortschaften gut und schnell zu erreichen. Negativ: Das Appartement ist an sich in die Jahre gekommen und durch die wenigen Fenster etwas dunkel. Gleichzeitig fehlte uns persönlich die Möglichkeit das Zimmer zum Schlafen zu verdunkeln. Zusammen mit dem doch eher durchgelegenem Bett war der Schlaf für unser Empfinden nicht so erholsam. Sauberkeit war ok, solange man nicht in die Ecken guckt. Fazit: Hinsichtlich Preis-Leistung eine absolute Empfehlung. Insbesondere für Naturliebhaber:innen, die es einfach und ohne viel Schnick Schnack mögen und „Fünfe gerade“ sein lassen werden mit Ruhe, Natur und schier unendlicher Weite belohnt.
