Guestbook comments from the owner

I just wanted to let you know how very pleased we were with our recent (June 19 and 20) Cozy Bear rental. The cabin was immaculate and very well equipped. It was our annual girls trip and everyone had a wonderful time. We lucked out on the weather and had a campfire every night. It couldn't have been more perfect! We hope to get back again soon.

Thanks for sharing your lovely cabin with us!

family fun!

Enjoyed the home everyday. Large rooms and well maintained. Pool table provided hours of friendly competition. Spent time swinging on the front porch too.

We absolutely LOVED this cabin! A few girlfriends and myself wanted a small getaway for Labor Day weekend. Of course we waited sort of last minute to book a cabin. We were afraid we weren't going to get as great of a cabin having waited last minute. I booked this cabin through Peggy and everything from submitting information/paying/getting address info to the actual cabin itself was absolutely wonderful! They are very easy to work with and are as kind as could be which makes it so wonderful. The cabin itself was beautiful. From the front porch to the upstairs game area, the hot tub and grill - it is all SO wonderful. We utilized almost everything in the cabin and were so happy we chose this cabin. The firepit was also a very nice touch as we had a fire on our last night. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and will book again through this company. We typically book through Hill's O Brown and this time we did not...this was much easier and more accommodating than other rentals have been. We LOVED it. Thanks again for such a wonderful stay and don't think twice about staying here - you will not regret it!

Wonderful rustic cabin. My wife and I very much enjoyed the property, and our time in Nashville.

  • 4 of 5

We would highly recommend this cabin - we just wish we had been able to stay longer! Very clean, large bathtub, comfortable bed, nice kitchen, pool table, fire pit, porch swing - everything we wanted! The only little disappointment was the hot tub - it was set at 92 degrees, which is just a warm tub - we used it for a few minutes, and got out shivering. That's why we gave 4 stars, instead of 5 - the hot tub is part of the reason that we chose this cabin. On the whole, we were very happy, and would book this cabin again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. I am sorry about the hot tub Our hot tubs are drained and cleaned after each visit. There were guests in the cabin the night before your arrival. The tub was emptied and refilled before you arrived. It takes some time for the tub to reheat. If you had tried it later it was probably 100 degrees. 100 Degrees is the standard setting. Again, sorry for this inconvenience. Peggy Bull

Beautiful, clean, everything we needed!

  • 5 of 5

This was a girls weekend for my family and we had a great time! The cabin was perfect! We spent most of our time on the front porch or out by the fire pit. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Can't wait to rent the cabin for another getaway!

awesome place

  • 5 of 5

This was an awesome place for our "homebase" during our trip to Nashville. It was easy to find. Everything was just as it was advertised. Clean, comfortable beds, and close to everything. Probably the only downside was that it is located right on the highway. The traffic started early in the morning, so for light sleepers, it probably isn't a good fit. The showers were luxurious. I would recommend this place for anyone for a getaway.
