Hi Leanne yes we are back and had a great time and your home was all we could have asked for.
Everything from our end was as advertised and we had no problems at all
Sue & Ging are keepers and nice local folks to have associated with your property
We asked where to get some fresh fish for our on island friends coming over for lunch and within 24 hours it was in the freezer no questions asked.
Overall we had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone. If you can not enjoy yourself in the setting you have provided I would feel they are folks who did not know where they were going or just have trouble being happy period. Life in the islands is not the same as life in the states and
If that is what they are looking for they are going to the wrong place
Thanks again for a wonderful vacation and if there is every anything we could help you out with please drop me a note or give me a ring.
Great location, incredible view, and very nice indoor and outdoor living spaces. We stayed 8/27 - 9/03 - in the heart of the off-season - so it was very quiet and secluded. Lots of amenities, we got great use out of the cooler, ice packs, and beach chairs, as well as the outdoor shower and pool. We didn't cook in much but the kitchen is well appointed with a great gas stove.
Leanne and Sylvia were very helpful and a joy to work with.
We hope to stay at Sirenetta again.
My family of 5 stayed at Villa Sirenetta in August. The villa is very convenient compared to other villas we have rented on the island. It is near the BEST beaches on the island and close to many good eateries. The villa itself is pretty nice for the price. It was the perfect size for my husband, myself, our two small children & my mom. The bedroom downstairs felt a little detached from the main living quarters but I'm sure it is perfect for some. The views for the most part are unbelievable and you can hear the waves from below. We were not particularly fond of the view of the Belmont "Pond" directly below as we have historically referred to this eye sore as the "mud pit". I was very disappointed that it was such a large part of our view although upon closer inspection, you will spot it in the photos here on the sight. Another thing to just be aware of is your deposit with regards to the power bill. When we arrived to the Villa it was a hot August evening and it was clear the air conditioners had just been turned on as it took all night to cool off. As a result, and because we have small children (ages 1 & 3) we didn't feel comfortable turning the a/c completely off when we left for the beach in the mornings. My mom & the kids spent a lot of time inside the villa, basically from lunch on because of nap schedules. We cooked lunch & dinner most every day. So, there was no opportunity to turn all of them off. We did follow the recommendations of Sylvia (Sue) to keep the a/c set on the numbers advised. So, I was very shocked when Leanne kept a large portion of our deposit (over $200) as a penalty for power usage. To expect us to turn off the a/c while our children are in the house in the middle of August is ridiculous. And the mosquitoes were so so so bad, there was no hope to open windows or doors for a natural breeze. Also, whether you choose this villa or another, if you place an online order with RiteWay, just beware. They didn't fulfill our order correctly and Sylvia did not check it against the list sent to Leanne. There were several missing items such as the milk which was the most important thing on the list! Our food clearly sat outside, unrefrigerated for several hours as the beef had changed colors, pizza had thawed, etc. The produce was over-ripe and the bread molded in a day or two...sadly, it ended up not being a convenient service after all. But, we absolutely LOVE Tortola and can't wait to return (to another villa) again next year.
First, let me start by saying it was an absolute pleasure to work with Leanne. She was very responsive to my e-mail questions and was very helpful with suggestions on what to do and where to go on Tortola. She even made a car rental reservation for us with “Jerry’s” West End rentals.
Our family of four spent a wonderful week at Leanne’s “Villa Sirenetta” on Tortola in early August. The villa is perched on the side of a steep hill with wonderful views of the neighboring islands. I’m glad that Leanne suggested renting a 4x4 from Jerry’s, as significant potions of the roads in Tortola are unpaved and very rocky/bumpy, including the last mile or so, to the villa.
Upon arrival, Sue met us and showed us around the very well equipped villa and made sure we knew how to work the TV, AC and Alarm system. The online pictures are more than accurate, but in some regards hardly do the villa justice, as the place was even more stunning than I had envisioned.
While in Tortola, we took several day sails and toured the islands and its beaches on the days we were not on a boat. We ate out at lunch time and cooked easy meals in the evening at the villa, so we could watch the sun go down while eating dinner on the outside veranda, as well as take advantage of evening swims in the pool.
Villa Sirenetta is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy what Tortola has to offer and is highly recommended. I will certainly rent the villa again, when I next return to Tortola.
It was a long awaited anniversary trip for two couples. I personally shopped every villa in Tortola (on line) before choosing Villa Sirenetta.
This villa can not be exceeded in terms of quality, location and price. Book this villa. You will not be disappointed!
Some details --
The villa sits by itself. No neighbors- no road noise. (Less than 10 minutes drive to several restaurants.)
The villa had the perfect set up - bedrooms with baths on each side of the great room with comfy beds and good linens. (One bedroom/bath below on the pool level if needed)
Everything we needed was provided. Beach towels, cooler, beach chairs starter supplies in kitchen; baths had everything- shampoo, hair dryer etc. We did not want for anything the entire week.
Air conditioning in bedrooms and great room. (We needed it in June due to the humidity)
Beautiful view from every room and the pool. Sunset view every evening.
The caretaker of the villa Sylvia and Samuel were wonderful and helpful in every way. We arrived late and they were waiting on us with a smile. took us to the grocery store and then to the villa. t was way after hours- 8:30pm.
We rented a car from Jerry's at Leanne's suggestion. He delivered it to the ferry terminal and let us sign the papers the next day. took us back to the ferry terminal the day we left.=No hassle
The road to the villa is steep and mostly unpaved which takes some getting used to, but easily navigated with four wheel drive.
Rented a boat from Island Time and went to the Baths and Jost. An absolutely fabulous adventure!
A beautiful vacation in every way! We call it "high living"!
Loved, loved, loved this villa!
YES we did it again and came back in Villa Sirenetta.
When we arrived the Villa, Silvia had wait for us and give us a warm welcome, we feeld at home.
This year we explore all the beaches.
Of course Smuggler´s Cove with Nigel's Bar and the delicious "Painkiller".
And also the great beaches at Trunk Bay, Long Bay Beef Island, and the hidden treasure at Little Bay. A 4WD car is here a must, because the road is a real adventure! The car from Jerry's runs good!
The house is very clean and the views unforgettable.
Thanks to Leanne, Silvia and Ging for our second vacation in this beautiful Villa.
We can recommended Villa Sirenetta for 100 Percent!

If you're going to Tortola, highly highly recommend this villa. When we booked, we didn't know too much about the layout of Tortola, and which areas were best to stay in. But, this location really was ideal. Definitely loved the West End area over Road Town, and probably would never stay in Road Town.
The villa was very clean, and the AC worked GREAT. The beds were very comfy as well. Beautiful view looking over Longbeach (i believe). Although we had a ton of rain for most of the trip, there would be the most amazing sunsets we could watch from the balcony every night (except one). There were two couples in the villa, and the setup was fantastic. Big living room space, huge deck, and the two bedrooms were on the opposite sides of the villa so there was privacy. We did place an online grocery order for delivery the day of our arrival and it was all put away and waiting for us. There was wi-fi, and it was definitely the best wi-fi connection we had during our 13-day trip (better than st thomas and st. john).
It was a little of a rough drive to pretty much anywhere in the area - unpaved and steep roads, and about a 20 to 25 minute drive just to get dinner. The only thing I didn't love about Tortola was that with restaurants/beaches, there was nothing else around each place - so you really need to be committed to where you are going to. Compared to St John, where you have 20+ restaurants and bars in Cruz Bay that make it easy to hop around, this is not the case in Tortola. Soper's Hole was probably the exception to that, with a few restaurants in that area.
Here are the places that we ate at - overall we were impressed with the food:
Loved Sugar Mill restaurant - amazing food, great drinks. Pricey, but it's a must.
Pussers - more upscale bar - good for lunch/dinner.
Scaramouche - in soper's hole. Very cool place. Went there on a sunday night when they only serve pizza, but it was still a great meal and great service. Reservations recommended.
Fish N Lime - great for lunch - and great blackened mahi mahi sandwich
BananaKeet - famous for their sunsets, we unfortunately has a bad thunderstorm that night and it took away from the experience. Food was good, but not my favorite.
Myett's at Cane Garden - decent bar food w/ beach view
Leanne was great to coordinate with, and very responsive. She and her staff in Tortola made this a really great experience for us! (despite the bad weather!)
Scuba Diving nearby, Near Soper's Hole Marina, Smuggler's Cove Beach, Long Bay Beach, Apple Bay, Bomba's Shack, Views of Jost Van Dyke. Great restaurants and bars within 10 minutes.
