Located at the entrance to the village of Fusio in the highest part of the Maggia Valley. The house was originally built at the end of the 18th century. Built in the 19th century and completely rebuilt in 2013 after being uninhabited for decades. During the renovation, the original structure and architecture were preserved and the valuable wooden elements reused.
The typical parlor of decorated wood, the pigna made of soapstone (tiled stove) and the historic wooden cabinets allow the guest as well the discovery of the past and the enjoyment of the present.
The Casa Camilla is an ideal starting point for walks and excursions. Visit Mario Botta's church in Mogno or the Kristallinahütte. In addition, you can fish in the lake Naret and discover the many other recreational opportunities in the region.
In winter, the ski slopes of Mogno are less than 5 minutes away.
Relaxation can be found in the Casa Camilla by the fireplace or the tiled stove (Pigna) dating back to 1795, be it with exciting reading or bad weather.
