Wunderbare Umgebung und schnell in München

Wir hatten zwei sehr schöne Tage in Starnberg. Das Haus ist geräumig und bietet vier große Schlafzimmer plus ein großes Wohnzimmer, Terrasse und Garten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten die Zeit sehr genießen. Es ist wunderbar ruhig und doch ist man auch schnell in München. Herzlichen Dank!

Sternberg House Stay

The property is very large! We didn’t even fill all the rooms. This is a great place to stay with a large group. The house is a 25-30 min walk from 2 train stations which we used to travel into Munich. The location was great and felt very safe. We did not have the right entry code sent to us ahead of time, so we did have to call the owner to get us very late at night. She picked up the phone right away and gave us the code, so I am grateful for that, but seemed agitated when it wasn’t our fault. Just make sure the code looks right before you go! The caulk in the shower seemed moldy in some places and the water was not hot one night when we went to shower. Other than these few things, it was a decent stay.

Gut für Gruppen

Wir haben die Unterkunft für die einige Tage um Silvester gebucht (10 Erwachsene). Leider mussten wir in den Tagen auf Internet verzichten. Es gab zwar einen Router, der jedoch keinen Internetzugang ermöglichte. Die mobilen Daten sind in der Umgebung leider auch nicht wirklich nutzbar. Unglücklicherweise mussten einige Freunde daher auf ihre Home Office Arbeit verzichten und dementsprechend noch mal Urlaub beantragen. Ab und an kam kein warmes Wasser aus den Leitungen. Im Winter manchmal ärgerlich. Nach einem halben Tag erst haben wir realisiert, dass man im Keller die Boiler selbst wieder anschalten muss. Wenn man dann etwa ne halbe bis ganze Stunde wartet, kommt wieder warmes Wasser aus den Duschen und Hähnen. In einem Bad gab es kein Licht, was bei den kurzen Tagen derzeit etwas Lebensqualität einnahm. Ansonsten jedoch ist das Haus sehr geräumig und durchaus gut ausgestattet. Für größere Gruppen von Menschen können wir die Unterkunft durchaus empfehlen, sollten die Mängel bis dahin behoben worden sein. Der See befindet sich in gehbarer Distanz, jedoch empfiehlt sich ein Auto.
