It is located on the 10th floor of Tower 1 with 180 degree unobstructed views of the ocean, Isle Molokai, Black Rock and the North shoreline, and West Maui Mountains. You will find yourself waking up everyday with a postcard view of the legendary Black Rock.

Black Rock is believed by ancient Hawaiians to be the site from which their spirits 'jumped off' or left this world to join their ancestors. The Black Rock area is highly popular for snorkeling and scuba diving as the rock forms a great reef wall attracting turtles and hundreds of beautiful tropical fish. From our Lanai, you can enjoy the legendary torch lighting and cliff diving from Black Rock everynight before sunset. Making your next visit to Kaanapali Beach a truly memorable one.

We offer competitive rates, first class accomodation professionally maintained by our local property manager. We completed a significant interior renovation in 2011 with many upgrades. Our new interior strikes a fine balance between modern luxuries and the Whaler island charms, appointed with many fine local arts. Hope you find our Maui home equally enjoyable as we do. Why The Owner chose Lahaina

Maui is our favor island in the world and we love spending time on Kaanapali Beach. Our beautiful vacation home at the Whaler offers a perfect getaway for two. The exterior views from our lanai is breath taking and inspiring - with that 180 degree unobstructed views of ocean, beaches and mountains. We chose a higher floor location for the best vista and privacy. The interior of our condo offers you the old Whaler island charms uplifted with modern convenience and upscale feels. It is warmly decorated with many Hawaiian paintings and pictures through out and we will continue to add our personal touch to it on every chance we have. We feel strongly that everyone staying at our condo should enjoy it as much and as the same as we do.

What makes this condo unique

The Whaler is so conveniently located with everything just a few steps away. No shortage of things to do or see, and places to eat or shop. Take the beach walk every morning for a refreshinig walk/exercise that stretches from the Shareton at Black Rock all the way down to the south end of Kaanapali Beach. Try Hula Grill next door with nightly live entertainment (one of the only two authorized Kiawe Grills on the Island), or enjoy Luau at KBH also located next door to the Whaler.

All The Comforts of Home

The views from this property were incredible and the unit had everything we could possibly need. The updates in the property are beautiful! My husband has a bad back and we always hold our breath when we go on vacation until we know how the bed is going to be. He said that of every vacation we've ever taken this was the best bed he's slept on. The only "negative" we experienced, and it is more of a suggestion than a complaint, was that the pockets on the sheets weren't deep enough and the fitted sheet kept coming off the mattress during the night...but, again, it was a minor inconvenience and certainly wouldn't stop us from staying in this unit again (we'd just bring our own sheets). The building and grounds are impeccably maintained and the staff were all extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We also loved being right next door to Whaler's Village. We would definitely stay at this property again!!!

Wonderful resort and condo

We recently stayed for three weeks at Unit 1018 at the Whaler resort in Kaanapali and our experience was wonderful. First, the resort is first class. They have lots of amenities like a gym, pool, barbecues and tennis courts. The staff are courteous and nice. They also have a wonderful beach and it is located right next door to great shopping and restaurants. The unit we stayed in was perfect for a couple as it was just my wife and me. The condo was stocked very well with lots of dishes and cooking tools. We ate breakfast every day on the lanai overlooking the view of black rock.The bed was real comfortable and unit up to date. The owner and and management took extremely good care of us. We hope to stay in this exact unit again when we come back to Maui next year.

Great place to stay, right on the beach

Wonderful place to stay! Clean and everything you will need! Loved staying here, close to everything, view was amazing. The owners and management were friendly and easy to get ahold of. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Whaler Wonderland

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Whaler. Room was beautiful, clean, well decorated and maintained. Only complaint was that the Wi-Fi was extremely slow to non existent at times. Not the property owners problem. Was that way throughout the complex. View of Blackrock and ocean was beautiful. Property literally on the beach. Walk out the door of the tower to the pool and then to the beach. Had a great time.

The unit, staff, and location of the Whaler were all fantastic. The ceiling in the bathroom seemed unfinished, but it would not stop us from staying again.

Beautiful unit with an amazing view!

This condo is perfect. Great location next to Whalers village and black rock. We enjoyed breakfast at the island vintage coffee shop daily and grilled fish at night. Perfect trip!
