Over 4500 sf villa located in the exclusive private gated community of Pedregal, with private security 24 hour a day, 365 days a year. This house is all about the view. The house has its own PRIVATE swimming pool. There are three separate decks to view the harbor and Sea of Cortez. Watch the fishing boats and cruise ships from the privacy of your own pool and viewing decks Orange trees and a lime tree will give you fresh fruit, when in season. A ten minute walk to town, the harbor, or the ocean, all less than 1/4 mile. Enjoy the comfort of knowing Pedregal's private security force is on duty 24 hours a day 365 day a year. The three bedrooms have their own private bathrooms, and are air conditioned. There is a separate 1/2 bath to accommodate the living areas. A smart tv is in the main living area and features US satellite viewing along with Netflix for entertainment. Other smart tv options are also available. All photos were taken in November, 2015.

Notes:
Pedregal has built our own desalination plant. Therefore we have an unlimited supply of clean water.The refrigerator has an ice maker and cool water dispenser on the door. The water is treated, as is a separate water faucet on the sink. A chef is available. A Voip phone allows for free calls to the US and Canada.

This place is fantastic

Great views, the pool was heated and clean. The interior was well furnished and up to date. I've stayed in other places in Cabo, and none compare to this villa, in this price range. I plan to rent here again

Location is beautiful...house is super dated.

Would I go back and stay at this home? No. Here's my reason why.

The owner was great to work with, I have no problems with him, it was the home that needed attention. Nothing has been updated since the home was built. Everything is extremely tired. It needs all new pots & pans, furniture, dishes, towels, rugs, decor, etc... The pool was cleaned once in the week we were there. By the end of the week, with 9 of us using it, it was a cloudy green cauldron. Everything that we used in the kitchen needed a good scrubbing before I felt okay using it. I'm not a neat freak by any means, but I like things to be cleaned properly.

I didn't mind the hike up the hill, but it is a serious workout if you're not in at least decent shape. It took us about 20 minutes to get into town and 30 to hike back up the hill. Taxi's from downtown will run you between $15-35 (negotiate before you get in the car or they will charge whatever they want).

It would have been helpful if the home had an owner's manual. We had to figure out how to turn the gas oven on and things like turning the pool back on after the pool guys cleaned it.

The last day we were there the gas ran out. The stove wouldn't light so we cooked on the BBQ. Lot's of little irritations, but we were with a fun group and we never let any of it bother our vacation. Our first thought, after checking in and seeing the home in person, was why didn't we just stay at a nice hotel right on the beach??

Owner's Response: I am perplexed. This home has been completely redone. In October of 2015 Hurricane Odile blew out all my windows, and destroyed much of the villa. Since then many improvements have been made. The exterior was completely repainted. Since June, 2016 the complete interior has been repainted. New appliances have been installed, including the stove, dishwasher, clothes washer, and a propane hot water heater installed. The furniture, rugs decor, etc. are as shown in the pictures. The pictures are less than one year old. There is a notebook with information in it, including phone numbers to call, which I personally showed them, in case something needed attention. No phone calls were made. Communication was lacking. Taxis usually run about $10, and anything more is a rip off, negotiate. I do appreciate the comment about the pool, as it is supposed to be serviced twice a week. The pool company has been warned!! The pool pump is on a timer, and will cycle according to the timer settings. Be assured the villa is accurately represented in the pictures, and I am sorry the decor did not please the guest.

There was a hurricane & it was great!

This is a wonderful place to stay! We endured a hurricane while there, and it was one of the best vacations I've taken! Scott really seemed concerned & his management company was prompt in fixing everything. It was quite amazing. I'm sure you won't have to deal with such extreme weather, so your stay will be just as great, if not better. The house was roomy, clean and quite beautiful. The view and pool are to die for. This place is perfect for a couples/friends getaway or a family. There isn't air on the main floor, but most of us did not have problem with the temperature. No reason to hang out inside anyway! We got massages and catering directly at the house. The Pedregal Resort was helpful for taxis. Cabo is a lot of fun, but we spent the majority of our time hanging out by the pool & enjoying the view. Everything's close & the price can't be beat! ...did I mention the pool & view? ;)

Owner's Response: This was a great group. I did not meet them as I was not in town at the time but I understand during the hurricane they had to spend the night in the bath tubs to be hurricane safe. Great Sports. I'm glad you had a good time and you are welcome back anytime

Casa Rosa is located in the private gated community of Pedregal, with our own private security guards. Fishing trips can be arranged. The house has Marina and Sea of Cortez views. Free telephone calls to the US and Canada on an internet telephone. Dish Network with a 50 inch smart television. There are many activities located close by including swim with the dolphins, golf, tennis, beaches, desert riding on atvs, shopping, great restaurants and bars are all within walking distance.
