Helpt is a district of the "mill city" Woldegk and known especially by the "Helpter mountains", which represent the highest natural elevation in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with about 179 m above sea level. The wooded ridge is embedded in a gently rolling landscape - surrounded by forests and lakes - which invites you to extensive discoveries in nature on foot or by bike.
Shops and restaurants can be found in about 4 km away Woldegk, which is mainly characterized by a total of five preserved windmills. Three of them are located on the Mühlenberg and are open to visitors as a café, museum and technical monument.
Also worth a visit is the county seat of the district of Mecklenburg Lake District Neubrandenburg, which is only 20 km away. The "four-gate city" offers many shops as well as various restaurants, cafes and restaurants.
