If you want your quiet retreat this is your place to go. It is nice and as described. If your wanting hotel style amenities go to such a place. If your looking to just be at peace in this Cozy Red Cabin, this is it. I would be more than happy to come back to this property again.

Thanks for a wonderful time at you cabin.

Owner's Response: Thanks Joel! It is a cute cozy cabin -- I know because I lived there for 7 years before building the main house!

This cabin was all we needed to make a memorable Memorial Day Weekend. Good rate, owner super nice.

  • 4 of 5

First thing you should take into consideration is the close proximity of the cabin to old town Pagosa Springs. The privacy you get here is algo great. The cabin has an older feel to it, and that's part of the experience. Not a hotel stay by any reach of the imagination, but clean and all the basics provided. My three night stay turned into four, and would have stayed longer if I could.

Quiet cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

Quaint cabin 5 miles south of Pagosa Springs, CO. Tucked away 50 yards from a state park. Nice views and 20 miles from Wolf Creek ski area. I would stay again.

Great, isolated location to enjoy Wolf Creek ski area

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had a great time here. The Cabin is small but has everything you need. Great location for skiing and enjoying what Pagosa has to offer. Can be a little tricky to park if you have a 2 wheel drive and it's snowing, but it wasn't a real issue in the end. Just be careful!

authentic winter/mountain cabin experience

  • 5 of 5

I've been visiting Pagosa Springs for several years now and this has been my favorite place to stay, and by far best value. From the moment we arrived I was amazed with the snow, the beautiful wooded property next to a national forest, the warm glow of gas fire place, the overall comfort we had staying here. Prior to booking the owner called me directly to answer all of my questions and upon our arrival the care-taker stopped by to check on us. No one wanted to leave including our family dog, Adelaide. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a very clean, authentic winter/mountain cabin experience. I'd definitely stay here again....and plan some time for more hiking in the forest without having to leave the cabin or drive anywhere.
