This fully air conditioned beautiful ocean front corner unit is less than 30 feet from the waters edge. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from your large lanai, watch the surfers, para-sailers, boogie boarders, playful dolphins, turtles, whales and passing cruise ships.

Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Every room has a beautiful view of the ocean and beach.

The resort is just a short walk to town for dining, shopping and the farmers market for vegetables, fruit, flowers and souvenirs.

The salt water pool, spa, BBQ's and outdoor dining pavilion are all oceanfront.

What makes this condo unique

We never miss watching the amazing sunsets from our lanai. The dolphins put on a show for us everyday and whale season is really exciting. Kona is a very special place and has something for everyone.

Best View in Kona

My husband and I had the most amazing time staying at Jim's place. It was the perfect spot and just out of town enough to hide away from the frantic Ironman business. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Jim was so accommodating and was always making sure that we had everything that we needed and that there wasn't anything more that he could do for help. He even wished my husband well for the race and tracked his progress!!

We will return hopefully and will definitely aim to stay at A31 Kona Reef Resort.

The Best Lanai

We loved this place and our visit to Kona was wonderful. We were looking for a place near the venue for a family wedding and this was perfect. It was within walking distance of that and more. Jim and Nancy's condo is beautifully appointed right down to the much appreciated binoculars. We used them almost daily. Every room has a spectacular view and we also made use of Jim's recommendations and enjoyed beaches and restaurants we surely wouldn't have known about. Home again, we miss the sound of the surf. We logged an entry into the guest book to the effect that we likely had the best lanai on the Kona Coast -- the best wave breaks in the neighborhood were right out in front of us and attracted surfers and boogie boarders every afternoon. In the shallow water we could see schools of yellow reef fish, and on several mornings we used the binoculars and zoom lens to watch pods of spinner dolphins putting on a show. In the kitchen there was a beautiful little gecko to protect us from bugs. And as a bonus, Honu The Sea Turtle basked upon the rocks by the tide pools below our lanai. We are considering another visit to The Big Island, and Kona Reef A-31 will be our first choice. Mahalo Jim and Nancy!

Simply fabulous!

You can almost reach out and touch the surf from the lanai. Every room has a sweeping ocean view. Just a quick walk to restaurants and shops. The owners, who are readily accessible, make sure everything is perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation.
