People tend to run out of superlatives when talking about Sierra Shores, and you will too. It’s the kind of place that will elicit a smile and an “OMG!” as you walk through the door, and it won’t end there. With lakefront access and views, a designer interior straight out of a magazine, and the highest quality amenities you’ll find in the area, you might just have to come up with your own words for it...like “awespectaculous”.
Excellent property. Worth the money! Great location. Really well maintained.
Only issue we had is parking is minimal and spaces are small so I would not recommend a large truck or SUV or you may not be able to park.
We spent an extended weekend over July 4th with the entire family. The town house was perfect for us; situated right on the lake with great views of the water and mountains, and a front row seat for the 4th of July fireworks! The property is well maintained and the amenities were as described. Being that it was the 4th of July, we expected loud beach parties, and heavy traffic. But that was not the case. We had a wonderful weekend on the lake!!
Gorgeous property! This place had the best location and it truly helped make our weekend perfect. I only gave it 4 stars because the coffee pot spit out 1 pot of coffee then stopped working (which was tough in a house full of coffee drinkers), the pool/ hot tub was not kept up (dirt and leaves throughout the pool), and there was a couple lights that were burnt out. But I would certainly stay again as those are minor issues compared to how amazing the views and location was.
I can't say enough good things about this place. Its honestly the most impressive rental I've had the pleasure of staying. The view from the balcony is amazing, the kitchen is state of the art, there's even a media room. Everything about the place and even the grounds was impressive. The whole family was equally happy with the stay. Very glad I found this place. Will be staying here again.
Inside the of the property is beautiful and the location is great. I had a very easy check in and the young woman at the desk was very helpful. The issues with this property are more on the management side of it. As soon as I pulled in I was informed there was no way my vehicle would not fit in the parking structure, but that the outside parking was permit only, so I could use that. Well permitted parking is a joke if no one is there to check permits. A group of adult guys parked without permits (not one, the entire weekend, and even used the handicapped space while my entire party had to park at the Safeway and walk back and forth, with a pack and play and car seat, and my son and it was absurd. I was told the elevator had just been fixed, but I actually got stuck in it for 20 minutes until my husband came and found me banking on it from the inside. Again, hauling for a party including kids up 2 flights of stairs is not really worth the luxury price tag paired with the parking fiasco. Saturday there was glass all over the walkway in front of unit 8, I called the number, and after 4 hours, ended up cleaning most of it up myself. Saturday night one person in my group was able to get into the garage which led the the fiasco on Sunday in which people literally double parked in front of the garages and behind cars so we had to wait 40 minutes past checkout while these people came back from taking pictures on the beach and having breakfast. Total nightmare. For a group of guys this may be great, but as a family we would go back to Buckingham Properties for the same price and a unit where I don't have to clean up after my children and random adults. At a minimum there should be someone on the grounds for the Sunday checkout window so people don't actually have to have verbal altercations to hit the check out time.
