Sweetest little getaway space!
We were looking for something off the beaten path, peaceful and also unusual as far as accommodations. This space has it all. It's an old fishing hut that's been converted into a 2 bedroom/2 bath with separate entrances for each room (next door to each other). The original stone flooring was super cool, along with the modern bathrooms. Nice view -- water is right across the little road. There was also a parking space.
It took us a while to get our rental car at the airport, it's about 35 minutes or so away, but Toni was there to greet us and show us the lay of the land. We were hungry, so he introduced us to his friend Ivan, who has the resturant a few doors down -- Restaurant Kupinica. We ate and drank there both days we were in Vinisce. They had a nice breakfast, which was discounted because we were guests of Toni.
The village is tiny. The water is beautiful. There are a number of restaurants that looked fine but we stuck with Kupinica because they really took care of us, plus the view is great. There's a small store in town as well, which we needed for shaving cream and snacks.
We had a few great sunsets, as well as an opportunity to watch the fishing boats go out at night. The perfect place to land to catch our breath during our travels. No wifi though....but my phone service had coverage so all was not lost.
If you're looking for a peaceful place to land -- definitely off the beaten path -- this is your place!
