Brilliant light shines through the abundant windows and lights the fabulous interior. Vaulted ceilings create an open spacious feel. Relax on the expansive covered deck.

View the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico from the ground level porches or from spacious upstairs Master Bedroom which opens on to a private terrace with an expansive view of the white sandy beaches below. The terrace affords privacy and an unobstructed view you will never forget.

The fully-equipped Kitchen, with a Breakfast bar (seats six), has spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico... The downstairs master bedroom is a king size bed and the up stairs master bedroom is a queen bed. The 3rd bedroom has a bunk bed with the top bed being a single and the bottom being a double bed. The living room has a sleeper sofa which is a queen, and there's a roll away bed in closet of the down stairs master bedroom.

Relaxing, breathtaking views, secluded, steps to the gulf waters

Definitely worth the money. The house itself was fine, older and needs a little love. However, the outside covered deck and literal beachfront property was amazing! Went with another family, total of four teenage boys, and all had a blast. Bring paper products, Saran Wrap, aluminum foil or other consumables. Grocery store is only 15 minutes away, but who wants to leave the beach. We are hoping to come back next year. Thanks for a great week!

So very beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing!

We just stayed there last week and were blown away by the beauty of this place!

If you are the type of person looking for a getaway from people, technology, and urban life than this will be the place for you!

My favorite part was the eyepopping ocean view greeting you as you enter the front door, almost the entire back wall is glass facing the ocean. You won't find polished granite countertops, marble floors, maid service or fancy crystal...so, if you need that stuff stay at a fancy resort, but if youre looking for awe inspiring scenery and privacy you will find it here!

My second favorite part of the house was the 2nd level master bedroom! It has French doors that open onto a balcony that overlooks the sea. You can literally lay in bed and watch the ocean waves, smell the ocean air, and feel the southern gulf breezes.

More highlights....the beach is so close to your back door...no need to haul chairs and non-sense to the seaside when the seaside IS your backyard!

My teenage boys loved the fact that they had their own rooms, their was internet if needed and good cell reception, and the ocean was in their back yard. We boogie boarded, shell searches, watched wildlife, and grilled outside. We encountered a stingray once and even had an enormously wonderful sea turtle visit us while swimming. The lay eggs on the island!

We did make short excursions to the more active and populated St George island and even drove over to Panama City Beach one day just to check it out. They were fun to visit!

We loved Carabelle and bought seafood and groceries as needed then quickly returned to our hideaway on Alligator Point!!

Things to know: Buy groceries in Panacea or Carabelle, these towns are 30 minutes away so plan accordingly. You will need to buy oil, butter, seafood, snacks, milk, coffee, grilling stuff...etc for your stay. If you wanna eat out there's two seafood joints in Panacea and a Pizza place they are not too bad, but cooking seafood at home was best.

The house has everything I found I needed like pots, pans, spices, ice trays, silverware, mixing bowls, pitchers...etc, but we are pretty simple people.

BE CAREFUL HOW MUCH POWDERY WHITE SAND YOU DRAG IN FROM THE BEACH. I SPENT FOREVER SWEEPING AND MOPPING! Lesson learned, there's a shower outside for a reason;) you wash your own bedding so wake up early, we were up at 600am and finished all laundry from 3 beds and all the towels by 1030am. We will be coming back next year!

Nice quiet vacation

We had a group of adults and children. The house was very open and cheery with great ocean views. The covered porch was great. Short walk over the dune to the beach. We usually go to the Atlantic side of Florida so we were unsure about the gulf side. Small surf but that was an advantage since we had kayaks and windsurfers. We thought the location would be inconvenient and it would have been if we ate out a lot but we picked up a weeks groceries in crawfordville and it was fine. The house had linens and towels and all the usual appliances, very clean. The only thing I can think of that would have been nice to have is a sturdy beach umbrella and some decent beach chairs.

Fabulous location for a super quiet stay on the beach

The sheltered porch was perfect, looking over sea and beach. The furnishings are quite new and very comfortable. Internet access was excellent. We would totally go again. Alligator Point is very quiet. Best to bring books, food, games, and enjoy the sea, sand, birds, dolphins, and the company of your party.

Some things were a little odd. The hand soap dispensers were mostly empty. No bath soap. Smaller pans (there were only two of us) look very worn. The requirement to launder and dry sheets before leaving would be tough to do before check out time if all the beds were being used. Helpful notes are almost non-existent, it took a systematic organized search to find the washer/dryer in a shed outside. The trash can was out on the road when we arrived, but it turned out - not properly closed. Its contents were spread out over the grass after our first night there. Not a pleasant job for the first morning.

Going again, none of these are a big deal, and the location is totally worth it. But we didn't feel particularly welcome for the first 24 hrs. After that, heaven on earth.

Spectacular Beach

The house has a great layout and is equipped with everything you need. The beach is quiet and we watched porpoise swim by all day long. Kids had a fun time playing in the white sand shore. Perfect place to escape and relax.

Beautiful relaxing getaway
