Brilliant light shines through the abundant windows and lights the fabulous interior. Vaulted ceilings create an open spacious feel. Relax on the expansive covered deck.

View the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico from the ground level porches or from spacious upstairs Master Bedroom which opens on to a private terrace with an expansive view of the white sandy beaches below. The terrace affords privacy and an unobstructed view you will never forget.

The fully-equipped Kitchen, with a Breakfast bar (seats six), has spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico... It's the kind of place where you want to linger for a second cup of coffee and wish time could stop to savor the moment. The downstairs master bedroom is a king size bed and the up stairs master bedroom is a queen bed. The 3rd bedroom has a bunk bed with the top bed being a single and the bottom being a double bed. The living room has a sleeper sofa which is a queen, and there's a roll away bed in closet of the down stairs master bedroom.

Spectacular Beach

The house has a great layout and is equipped with everything you need. The beach is quiet and we watched porpoise swim by all day long. Kids had a fun time playing in the white sand shore. Perfect place to escape and relax.

Relaxing

Our travel plans only called for 3 nights and it was good to secure such a nice place without having to book for a week. The kitchen and living area was open with lots of glass on the back of the house to see the water. We also enjoyed having both a shaded deck along with one with full sun. Owners gave us a call to check in our us and allowed us to check in early. We had a minor snafu with one of the TV's but they responded quickly and we got it resolved.

Very Relaxing Vacation

We had a great week in this home. The pictures on the VRBO site were a very good representation of the various rooms and spaces within the home. The home was very spacious and well kept. The beach was very close, private, and quiet. We loved all of the glass windows and doors across the back of the home... these provided great views of the ocean all day. Given the privacy of the island, the night sky was filled with stars. On the clear nights, we enjoyed turning off all of the lights after dark and sitting on the upper porch to get a better view of the thousands of stars. We did have to work/travel a bit to find activities for our teenage sons but had great outings to Wakula Springs and St. George Island (for jet skiing). We appreciated the opportunity that the owner provided to do some light cleaning/straightening up of the home and save on the cleaning fee. This location is a bit remote so it is good to bring as many groceries and supplies when you come to the home. Overall we liked this home and would stay here again if we return to Alligator Point.

This is a GREAT beach house!!

We walked in an immediately noticed it was roomy and open - well maintained and exceptionally clean for an older house - and the beach was less than 100 yards away, just a short walk down the sandy trail. Panacea Businesses were a little "iffy" but I will "Yelp" about those somewhere else... I will have to say Big Daddy's Pizza was as advertised, Very Good Pizza! Very nice outside seating area and did I mention it is right on the beach!!?? Everything went very smoothly from check in to check out. House was big enough for my family of 7 with room to spare. Well stocked with almost everything we needed. Nice pots and pans, plenty of dishes, cleaning supplies, some spices, wifi was easy to get on, nice TV's in every bed room. Get Groceries before you get to Panacea would be my recommendation.
