About Rhonda Gannon

We are an athletic family living in California. We have 2 daughters, a son, and 6 grandchildren. We enjoy spending time with family and friends. We are drawn to the water and all the sporting activities it offers.

Rhonda Gannon purchased this house in 2000

Why Rhonda Gannon chose Palm Coast

This location was chosen by my Mom, who was able to see the beauty and the serenity this community offers. People are warm and welcoming. Watching the sunrise over the ocean in the early morning will surely renew your spirit in all that is beautiful and magical. With so many world class attractions a stones throw away, you feel as though you have your own private resort home in this beautiful community of beach homes.

What makes this house unique

We love all the water sports close at hand. We also love to go into St. Augustine to enjoy dinner or browse the historic sites and shops. Hiking and biking along the many trails of coastline are a favorite pastime as well. Although the home is located about 300 ft. from the ocean, the Intra-coastal Waterway is within a short walk or bike ride.

Wonderful Beach Get Away!

  • 5 of 5

Scheduled this mini vacation well before Hurricane Hermine was thought of for my family. We all live in Florida and had a few hours to drive to this wonderful home. My husband and 2 kids had to stay back at our house to keep the generator running and for work due to the weather. Rhonda was very understanding and wanted us to have a great time regardless of the circumstances. Power was restored late Saturday at our home on the Gulf coast and we were all able to enjoy the rest of our vacation. We had everything we needed and so much more to have a FANTASTIC Time! We plan on making this home a yearly get away. Thank you!!

Perfect Beach Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The only reason you will need to leave this well maintained, well stocked, clean home is to get groceries at the Publix, which is a few miles down the road. The view of the ocean from the front decks is beautiful. The walk to the ocean down the sandy road takes one minute.

The layout of the home is perfect in that two bedrooms are on the third floor, with the master bedroom, kitchen, and living area on the second floor.

We enjoyed eating at Captain's Bar BQ while the little ones played at the playground. We also enjoyed Tapas at the nearby Wine and Cheese and breakfast at Hammock Organics Cafe.

If you are a boater or fisherman, you can launch your boat at Bing's Landing into the Intracoastal. Bing's is only 2 miles away.

If you want to swim with the dolphins, Marineland is is only 4 miles away.

The neighborhood, with single family homes, is safe and quiet. This is "old" Florida at its best.

Best Vacation Ever!

  • 5 of 5

We love this house! It was just as described and is closer to the beach than the pictures show. Very clean and well maintained. Booking was a breeze and Rhonda was great! We didn't have to pack anything but clothes, this house comes with everything! Great location, quiet beaches and not too far from attractions, fishing, boating and kayaking. We plan on booking this house again next summer!

Perfect Place to Relax

  • 5 of 5

We were introduced to this area many years ago while staying at a nearby resort. What I liked most about Flagler County was how quiet and unspoiled the parks and beaches were. You have access to miles of uncrowded beaches and the intercoastal. Orlando, Jax, and St Augustine are not far away if you're looking for more attractions.

The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay. A fully equipped kitchen for those who want to cook, TVs and internet access. The house is clean. If you don't want to make a short walk to the beach, there are plenty of decks to get sun. For those who can't be out in the sun 24/7, its important to have a nice house to stay in, and this meets all your needs.

This is not a place to party - it's a place to relax and forget about where you came from for a while. If peace and quiet is what you're looking for, this is your place.

Secret Hide away

  • 5 of 5

We truly loved this home. It was ideal for our family reunion with three generations and the house being split. It was spotless and had everything we needed from boogie boards for the beach, to a grill and a fully equip kitchen and linen. Who could ask for more. The beach was so close and private even over Spring Break. Thank you Rhonda for giving us this wonderful treat. We were thrilled to get your call on the day we arrived and to know the housekeeper was close by if we needed anything.

Perfect location, comfortable home, excellent beach access.

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying in this house. It was equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. We had 8 people and we slept all of us very comfortably. We loved being only a few hundred yards from the beach. And it was practically a private beach since only the local residents use it. The house had beach supplies, such as chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and boogie boards. It also had tons of towels, dish ware, rollaway bed, blankets and anything else we could need. We loved sitting out on the balconies, eating, visiting and even, in my daughter's case, sleeping! It was helpful to have a washer/dryer so we could wash the towels, etc.. And the house was just a quick minute to Publix!

The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this house for a beach trip except I wouldn't want anyone else to be renting it when I want to go back!!

We took a day trip to St. Augustine, which was only 30 minutes away, and we visited the state park a half mile up the road. There is a wide bike trail that runs down A1A which was perfect for the runners and bikers in our family.

The Turtle Shack was a good local seafood restaurant we're we ate. And for you quilters, the Cut Up and Sew quilt shop in Palm Coast is terrific!
