Welcome to our newly renovated 100 year-old craftsman home. This classic abode offers comfort and space. The unique combination of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms makes it perfect for reunions, wedding groups and professionals attending conferences in the Seattle area.

A large, fully equipped kitchen and dining room work well for meals-in and dinner parties. The Spacious living room and front porch allow for group gatherings and just kicking back. Plentiful on and off-street parking and fenced backyard with gas grill.

Enjoy close proximity to the city within the urban Seattle neighborhood of Ravenna. Walk to coffee shops and restaurants in the University District or jog the 3-mile loop around Green Lake.

About Bob

I own several homes in Seattle and chose this one as a Vacation Rental for it's unique combination of number of bedrooms and bathrooms and proximity to Downtown. It will be a wonderful place for reunion of family or friends, gathering of wedding groups, or professionals in town for a conference. The large kitchen, dining and living room are great for enjoying group dynamics and there is still plenty of room to spread out and get ready for a big night.

Why Bob chose Seattle

Location, Location, Location....can't be beat if visiting Seattle. Close to Downtown, Greenlake, Lake Washington and the University of Washington but far enough away from the busy city or university scene.

Great place for a family gathering!

  • 5 of 5

The house is in a great location, with easy access to the I-5 and the U-District activities. It has large rooms, so no one felt cramped, and a nice big dining table/kitchen for our family meals. We had a wonderful time and everyone commented on what a great house it is. We definitely recommend this house !

Great space to host extended family

  • 5 of 5

I rented this place for my mom's side of the family to stay the weekend of my sister's wedding. The common areas have plenty of space for entertaining and the kitchen/dining area was much bigger than I anticipated from the photos. We even had my dad's side of the family over for dinner one of the nights. Each room has its own bathroom with the exception of the two rooms downstairs that share one. The location was a quick uber ride downtown to the wedding and for sightseeing. University Village was also very close for restaurants and shopping.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

We had a full house of family staying to celebrate our son's wedding at nearby Blessed Sacrament Church. It was perfect for young & old alike. Plenty of parking available, very comfortable king beds, great bathrooms.. Everything was easy to operate. We especially enjoyed lighting a fire since the weather was quite cold & dreary. Overall the home was practical & comfortable.

Overall impression: pics not accurate

  • 3 of 5

We were a group of 8 family members (all adults and over 60) who come together for a yearly reunion. Over the past several years we have chosen different cities in all areas of the U.S. We all agreed that the initial first impression of this home was not as expected from the photos. There are NO wood floors in the foyer and living room. The carpeting in these rooms is dirty and the area rugs (over the carpeting) are worn and unsightly. The upholstered sofa and love seat in the LR was worn and in need of cleaning. The front yard was unattractive with little grass and many weeds and bare spots. For a "home away" this home was lacking in several amenities that have been provided in other homes we have rented: a chair in the bedroom, a place for toiletries in the bathroom, a clock in the bedroom, facial tissue, salt & pepper shakers, and clear instructions as to what items are to be recycled. The pros: comfortable beds, kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dinnerware, small appliances and utensils. It would have been nice to have a second coffee maker to accommodate all our coffee drinkers. The location was excellent for its proximity to Interstate 5 and convenience for sightseeing in the area.

Great Time Shared by Our 'China' Group

  • 5 of 5

We had four couples gather for our 10-year reunion. We and several other couples, all seniors, met on a tour of China and Tibet in 2005; this was our 10th year getting together in various locations around the US. We bonded so well on our tour that we are now 'family.' The house was perfect for us, in a good location, and provided the needed comfortable amenities for our aging bodies. The bedrooms were terrific, as were the bathrooms and the space for dining and relaxing. Everything was clean and well cared for. We did many of the tourist activities and mostly just hung out together with good food we mostly prepared at the house, along with good conversations. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood, close grocery stores including Trader Joes, and quick access to all the surrounding Greater Seattle. And we planned for our 11th.
