Experience the special charm of the historic old town on a stroll through the old streets, which for the most part is also car-free zone. You can also climb up to the old city wall, with the wonderful view over the city, to enjoy the wide sea and the surrounding mountains, as well as the fantastic panoramic views to the "Cap Formentor". Also interesting is the old Roman excavation site "Pollentia". Every week, Tuesday and Sunday, a weekly market takes place below the old city wall with its colorful bustle. Here you will find fresh fruit and vegetables from the region, but also local specialties such as olives, cheese, ham and much more.
