The house sits on a hill, between fields and woodland, with verandas on two floors to admire the views and take in a sunset.

You may see llamas, a donkey,, goats, alpacas, ducks and geese as you stroll around the land. From the veranda you may spot the deer grazing in the morning as well as a variety of other local wildlife. It is a remarkable area for bird watching too!

Cute older house that has plenty of beds for a big family. We cooked the entire weekend and had everything we needed-just had to stick fridge. Both bathrooms downstairs. King beds and all but two twins upstairs. The kids loved the pool and floats were provided. You can the see pool from the kitchen window and front porch which was great. Closest grocery store was the Piggly Wiggly-5 min away (not great for fresh produce). Ingles was the next- 20 min away. Hubby liked watching the wildlife from the front porch and the fact that the home was very private. Downside was being an hour from Chattanooga and 30 min from Sweetwater (Lost Sea Adventure). We would definitely return and owners were very accommodating and helpful. Living room small but with open kitchen it works.
The house is beautiful! The area is beautiful! The people are warm and welcoming. Don't miss out on this one.
When we first pulled up to the house we weren't sure we made the right choice. But you should never judge a book by its cover! Inside was so perfect for all 11 of us! We had 3 different families in one house and everyone had more than enough places to sleep, bathrooms were huge, pool was awesome! Plus all the extras like, hammocks on back porch, outdoor tables and grill, extra fridge down stairs, washer and dryer. Felt very at home and safe staying here.
We knew it would be cold when we made the reservation but the house was wonderfully warm and cozy. The description of an Amish built house doesn't give credit to how nice the interior is. We arrived right after an ice storm and every plant and twig and leaf was covered in sparkling silver reflections of sunshine. We have stayed several times to simply get away and every season there has its charms.
We first pulled up to the house I thought I might had made a mistake till we walked in everything was very clean and comfortable. had everything we needed from plates to paper towels we went with 5 adults 6 kids from 2-14 year old. had a great time, I would suggest That if you bring young kids that you bring some children books and maybe a child's gate to keep small kids from going up stairs on there own. PS loved the pool
