This Nice apartment is located in the centre of Nice on the Promenade des Anglais, a 10 minutes walk from the Negresco Hotel. Nice Airport is only three miles away.

This three-bedroom apartment is nice and roomy (85 m2 or 915 ft2). The apartment has been recently refurbished and refurnished to a very high standard with a modern and bright style. The living/dining room opens onto a 10 m2 terrace overlooking the Bay of Angels.

Its exceptional location and spacious floorplan with 3 double bedrooms make this apartment extremely popular and we have guests who come back over and over again. Whether you are a couple or 2 couples or a family of 4 or 6, you will definitely enjoy your stay.

The main bedroom has a King-sized bed (71' width), a chest of drawers, a high wardrobe and a balcony looking onto a private residential area.

The 2nd bedroom has a Queen size bed (63'), a chest of drawers and a also a high wardrobe.

The 3rd bedroom has a double sofa bed, a chest of drawers and a built-in high wardrobe.

There is a crib and a high chair available that makes this apartment also very suitable to young children.

There is a separate fully equipped kitchen and the main bathroom has a full bath, a toilet and a bidet. The second bathroom has a shower and a second washbasin and a second toilet.

The living/dining room has a large dining table and 6 chairs, one large settee and three armchairs. TV, video and DVD players are also available and hi-fi. Free Wi-Fi high speed internet access.

And, naturally, there's central heating for the winter months. The living room is air-conditioned.

At the front of the building, off the living/dining room, there is a large terrace with views directly over the Mediterranean. This is equipped with a dining table and 6 chairs.

About The Owner

Hi, I am Alexander Thijs, the property owner. Last summer 2009 I had an interview in the Gazette de la Promenade, the Newspaper of the Promenade des Anglais, where I had the opportunity to outline all the best things of Nice and the Promenade in particular. Here are the first phrases of the interview: “I fell in love with the Promenade for the rest of my live!” These are the words of successful dentist and owner of an apartment on the Promenade des Anglais Mr. Thijs (Dutch). He is successfully managing the seasonal rental of his apartment, while working fulltime as a dentist. His rental site and blog are visited by people all around the world and have set a new standard for holiday rental.

The apartment was absolutely fantastic - it had everything we needed and the balcony with a sea view was absolutely ideal. Laure, who checked us in and out, was very friendly and always prompt. I would thoroughly recommend the apartment to groups booking in Nice as it was roomy, had all the necessary amenities and was close enough to the beach, the old town and the train station. A very enjoyable stay :)

A perfect stay in Nice

We enjoyed our stay in Nice a lot. The apartment, by bus only 15' from Nice Airport, had all the comfort we needed. Waking up in the morning and having breakfast on the balcony looking directly at the Mediterranean Sea gives you the perfect Holiday Feeling. You can reach the centre of Nice walking in 25', by bike (Les Velos Blue) or taking the bus in front of the apartment.

An ideal apartment in Nice

My family (all adults--3 to 6 at a time) was here for three weeks. We were thrilled with the apartment from the moment Sandra showed us in, arranging for an early check-in for our convenience. The apartment was exactly as advertised, including the photos and all the text on the site. The property was clean and well-maintained. We had all the appliances and kitchenware we needed. The dishes and furniture reflect regular use (don't expect "new"), which is just as we have found in other apartments we have rented in Europe. The dishwasher needed to be replaced while we were here and this was arranged by Sandra and Alexander, the owner, quickly and with no inconvenience at all for us. The Promenade des Anglais is very busy so noise is to be expected on the terrace and in the front room when the doors are open; the bedrooms are in the back and are quiet and comfortable. The location of the apartment was perfect and we especially loved having a Velo station so close by; we used the bikes almost every day. Alexander responded promptly to all email queries. We would recommend this apartment without reservation to relatives or friends, and in fact hope to reserve it again for another family vacation in a few years.

Stunning View

We were a group of "White Hairs," women of experience, who spent almost a week in this apartment with its stunning view. What you see is truly what we got - palm trees, sparkling sea, and some traffic - all from our balcony.

We were in the middle of a long trip and for us this was an oasis. Some of us needed the elevator and each of us appreciated it. Despite the traffic, this is a quiet apartment. Sleep was gentle and easy with good beds and lots of space. We had time to use the washing machine, finding the drying rack in the bathrrom as well as the lines and outside rack just right.

We loved getting up and going to sleep to the sight and sound of the sea. We walked and walked in the neighborhood, testing several restaurants and visiting local vendors. We enjoyed staying home and enjoying our own space, talking, reading, writing postcards.

Sandra, who met us upon arrival, was warmly welcoming and very knowledgeable regarding the apartment, its "machines," the neighborhood, and "getting about." She remained available by email which we used via the wifi in the apartment.

Quiet, clean, attractive, spacious, and with a stunning view: everything one could want.

Nice apartment

Three friends and myself recently returned from five nights in this apartment in Nice. The apartment is well located on the Promenade des Anglais. It is also well laid out as the bedrooms are on the back rather than on the noisy street side.

The property manager met us at the apartment in a timely manner but the "Meet and Greet" was very rushed. Also, we had asked that four beds be made up. However, only three beds were prepared. Fortunately, we found the sheets for the fourth bed.

Our main complaint is that the apartment was quite dirty. I realize that it is probably rented out with very little time between tenants. However, even some of the pots/pans were dirty and there was dust and grime everywhere. This was the last of five rentals during our 6 week stay in France. The booking was problem free and I certainly did appreciate the ease of booking. If the apartment were cleaner, I would certainly recommend it to friends and family

Owner's Response: I am happy to hear that these clients enjoyed the lay-out of the apartment with 3 bedrooms at the quiet rear and it's wonderful location with a large balcony on the Promenade des Anglais. As an owner, I'm taking the reservations and communications with my clients who appreciate the ease of booking and all there questions being answered. When they arrive at the apartment I hire a managing agency that is responsable for the meet and greet, laundry service and final end cleaning. I always check the apartment when I am in Nice, it was always clean at that moment. I'm sorry to learn that these clients have found otherwise. I will discuss the issues above with my managing agency, so thay will take care that they will do the highest concern as I do.
