It is believed that a few centuries ago a Roman soldier named Gurianum received this place as a gift. Later, Guran was named after that soldier. Today, on a hill south of the small village, there are ruins of ancient Gurianum.

In 2004, the family begins to restore the building, taking into account the preservation of local characteristics (wood and stone) and the original beauty of the Istrian landscape in which the house is located.
Guran has a significant historical and cultural heritage. His remains are housed in the palace of Vodnjan. Today, the remains of some churches and basilicas are in Guran. Its medieval name was Gropi or Old Guran, the place is first mentioned in 1908 Guranis. Gropi or Old Guran is 100 meters from the present settlement. The village of Gropi has the shape of a parallelogram with smooth walls, the floor is paved with stones that are still preserved and visible in some places, and the wall has the shape of a fish bone.
From 2002 - 2008, many investigations are made in this area, which cover the antiquity and the Middle Ages. In the excavations were remnants of a prehistoric triangular handle, the remains of ceramics, cookware from the Middle Bronze Age around 1500 and 2800 BC. Discovered.
The house Bozac has three floors (ground floor, first floor and the attic). The total area is 104 m2. The house has a separate entrance and is surrounded by a stone wall and a garden with aromatic herbs (lavender, sage and rosemary). The garden is for communal use.
On the ground floor is the living room with a minibar, satellite TV, armchair and a sofa that can be used as a bed for one adult or two children, and air conditioning for heating and cooling. Through a hallway you enter a bathroom with shower, a toilet, a washing machine and a heater.
On the ground floor is also the kitchen with the dining room and a fireplace. The kitchen has kitchen furniture and is equipped with necessary equipment and a wonderful set of rosewood seating. In the kitchen is a door to the covered terrace (about 20 m2) in the back of the house. The plot behind the house has a size of about 2500 m2. and there are children's playgrounds (sandpit, swings, football goals, slide) and a swimming pool (6x4x1,30) with a shower.
A staircase leads to the upper floor, where there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet.
The Orange room has a double bed, a single bed and a cot, two wardrobes, a small table with two chairs, two bedside tables with lamps, a dresser with mirror, and air conditioning. This room has a view of the children's playgrounds, an olive grove and pool.
The Cupid room has a double bed, a wardrobe, a dresser with mirror, a leather taburett, two bedside tables with lamps and air conditioning. The window in this room faces the entrance of the house and the aromatic garden. The pull-out staircase leads to the gallery, where there is a single bed.
The attic room is at the attic of the house. In the mansard there are three single beds and an additional bed, each with a compartment, a lamp and a chest of drawers. This is a nursery because the ceiling is not very high. The air conditioning is used for heating and cooling. The windows overlook the pool, the children's playgrounds and the olive grove.
