About this property

Holiday home on the lock island - vacation on the island

Enjoy relaxing days in our holiday home on the quiet lock island. An idyllic stay can be guaranteed in the middle of the Lahn.

Our accommodation offers sleeping facilities for up to 6 people (see floor plan of the apartment). If required, a boat dock can also be provided. Due to its location on a river, fishing activities are possible directly on the property. Our large terrace is equipped with a barbecue area, an outdoor kitchen and an unforgettable view of the Lahn and the 800-year-old Lahneck Castle. For the colder days there is an open fireplace in the living room of the holiday home. On the mainland, bike paths lead to Lahnstein, Koblenz and Bad Ems past the lock island. The proximity of these places to our holiday home thus offers further opportunities for a varied holiday. Hikers will also get their money's worth with a stay, as the Lahn hiking trail, the world-famous Rheinsteig, and the Ruppertsklappe are right on the doorstep.

Wonderful location with superb views of the river Lahn

The location of this property was excellent with superb views of the river and the host was very helpful and friendly, responding promptly when contacted. There were some issues regarding the bathroom at the property which smelt either damp or of the drains. This is a very compact place with steep steps to the bathroom area - not suitable for less able bodied guests. There were limited cooking facilities and no oven with only a hob to cook. The garden umbrella was broken and unusable.

Perfektes Wiedersehen

Wir, Mädels Ü40, haben uns nach langer Zeit hier auf der Lahn wiedergesehen und es war perfekt: tolles Haus, tolle Nachbarn, Schwimmen in der Lahn, Ruppertsklamm in der Nähe. Die Ausstattung ist super! Wir würden wiederkommen. DANKE!!!

Gemütliche Zuflucht der Extraklasse

Die Vermieter des Objekts waren sehr freundlich, eine Flasche Wein stand als freundliches "Willkommen" bereit und es war bereits hübsch für die Weihnachtszeit geschmückt- sehr aufmerksam und angenehm! Das Objekt selbst ist mit einem Auge für's Detail eingerichtet und durch verschiedene Beleuchtungsmöglichkeiten gut auf unterschiedlichste Situationen einstellbar. Morgens hell und abends heimelich- genau, wie man es sich wünscht. Die Bodenheizung im modern hergerichteten Badezimmer ist ein Lebensretter zu dieser Jahreszeit ;-) Alles in Allem eine tolle Erfahrung und absolut zu empfehlen. Selbst der Besitzer des nebenan positionierten Liegeplatzes war sehr freundlich! Vielen Dank für das schöne Wochenende und bis zum nächsten Mal!
