We bought our house so we could be located in one of Louisville's finest and most vibrant neighborhoods. We are professional adults who enjoy urban living. We decided to open our lovely home to others to be able to experience and share in the 'local flavor' of Louisville's most independent, locally owned business and restaurant corridors in the state of Kentucky.

What makes this apartment unique

You will be within walking distance to some of the finest restaurants and shops in the Louisville. We are conveniently located 3 miles from downtown Louisville and the world's most famous horse racing track Churchill Downs. We are also centrally located to the University of Louisville and medical facilities downtown.

Great stay

We stayed here for 4 nights early this March. The home is wonderful with lots of character and VERY spacious. All the utensils and amenities are there from clean towels, guide books to every practical item you need to make a great meal. It is located in a good area with everything a good driving distance of 5-10 minutes away. Parking in the front makes life easy. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable and have a couple of cats and a dog which my daughter loved to visit with in the backyard. This property has both a backyard and front porch which is nice for sitting outside day and night. It was a highlight of our trip with the space, the nice owners AND beignet's a 3 minute walk behind the house at a local restaurant.

Overall the apartment was excellent. The location is walking distance to many restaurants and bars in the Highlands area. It is also very easy to get anywhere by car in the city. The house itself was very clean and comfortable with an amazing front porch to sit and relax in. The owners were very easy to deal with.

Wonderful Space, Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay in Louisville and this property made it all that much more special. It's walking distance to GREAT food and dining and is an easy bike or drive to Cherokee Park. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Great accommodations in every regard!

This is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. We had everything we needed - and enjoyed the neighborhood just as much as we did our Louisville adventures. Cozy house - clean and peaceful... and the front porch is a bonus! Sarah is a quality VRBO host - great to communicate with. We will be back!
