Great family getaway

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying in this cozy home. It was perfect for our family. It was located perfectly between Grand Canyon and Williams. We loved the peace and quiet of this secluded home. It had everything we needed.

You're going to LOVE this perfect vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

This house (despite the great description on this website) exceeded our expectations!

It was the perfect place to unwind and relax after a day at the Grand Canyon and surrounding attractions.

Every comfort was thought of (including an awesome goodie basket with snacks, bottled water and a bottle of wine!) and it was made to feel like our home.

The porches were my favorite part - got to enjoy the sunsets and the sunrises.

Tamara was fabulous to work with and gave me some ideas of local activities.

(Be sure to check out Slide Rock State Park near Sedona - http://azstateparks.com/Parks/SLRO)

My kids (8 & 12) loved the house as well and didn't want to leave!

Lastly, to the owners Tamara and Barry - thank you for all of your efforts that go into maintaining such a lovely home.

It made our trip all the more memorable!

Nice Place, Close to Grand Canyon

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 had plenty of room to stretch out. They all had their own beds and room to move around both inside and outside. Place is close enough to williams to get groceries and any necessities, but also close to the grand canyon to beat the crowds for the day.

Clean and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

As stated in the other reviews, this property is clean, tidy and well maintained. It was comfortable and spacious for our family of five and the welcome basket of goodies was a nice touch. The property is fairly isolated in a sparsely populated community but is safe. It is half way between Williams (nice restaurants and attractions) and the Canyon. The only downside is the crawling internet, but even with teenagers we survived - thanks for the Pictionary!

Owner's Response: It is nice to hear when our guests enjoy themselves. We are trying to get better internet but we are in a rural area and satellite. Efforts are being made. Thank you for staying with us and we'd love to welcome you back.

Beautiful view

  • 5 of 5

Home had very beautiful views of sunsets, sunrises and the starry sky. Very clean home with all the kitchen tools we needed to cook meals. Stocked with towels, extra sheets and and games. Check-in instructions are clear. Follow the owners advice and shop for groceries in Williams. This was our favorite home in all our travels. We were travelling with 3 teenage boys and our 10 year old girl. We will choose this house again if we ever get a chance to visit the South Rim again.

Owner's Response: We all try very hard to make our guests comfortable. Our housekeeper especially. We want our guests to make it a time of relaxation and enjoyment. Can't take credit for the Sunset or Sunrise.

Convenient base for Grand Canyon

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for two nights in May and found it very convenient. I was worried it might seem to far from the Canyon at 30 minutes away, but found we actually enjoyed being further away from all the action - it was a very peaceful, pretty drive back each afternoon and we enjoyed sitting on the porch admiring the view and watching the sunset. Definitely recommend a GPS for help with finding the house in the dark. The house had plenty of space for our party of six and the kids enjoyed having a yard to get out in. I agree there are no convenient stores nearby, but we picked up what we needed on the way back to the house each day and it was not really an issue. The small grocery store near the Canyon was fairly reasonable price-wise. The welcome basket was very nice to have and the house was in great condition, very clean. We will certainly return if we happen to be in the area again.
