About Olivia Chapman
I am a grateful mother of 3 devoted children; one still in college, two beyond and gainfully employed. A longtime resident of Vermont, originally from SF bay area, I enjoy a full range of all-season outdoor activities, music, foreign film, museums and travel. That said, I'm working towards the latter as I'm committed to seeing my remaining child through school, thus tethered to my work. Personal interests that give me pleasure include reading, watercolor painting and spending time in France, when I can, where I have family.
Olivia Chapman purchased this Apartment in 2009
Why Olivia Chapman chose Mont Boron
This vintage 1920's apartment has been in my family for sixty years. We use this enchanting flat when we can, and share it with long-term annual, off-season guests as well as summer travelers.

The view is amazing! The property was as described. Stocked with all the amenities one wouldn't even expect, but was great to have available! The property manager was very friendly and helpful. Loved it!
Very nice location. Quiet. Lovely view from the balcony.
Beautiful apartment with an amazing view!
The art in this beautiful apartment is only rivaled by the view of the Mediterranean Sea from the balcony.
Olivia was informative and welcoming with every communication. Months before we arrived she provided comprehensive information about hikes and attractions in the area so that we could plan our stay. This information as well as additional location information provided in a booklet in the apartment made a huge difference.
Lauretta, the apartment manager, was also responsive and accommodating. She even provided a new blow dryer when we couldn’t locate the one that was previously in the apartment.
Luxe, Calme, et Volupte
A perfect nest with water views from large windows. From this perch you can watch incoming boats and the changing colors of the sea. The proportions and layout of the apartment are just right, and the artworks on the walls, as well the handsome furnishings are very pleasing (matters to us as visual artists). In other words, we felt completely at home and comfortable. The place has a beautiful soul.
Lauretta is a real mensch, supremely sharp and helpful. The owner, Olivia, is totally responsive, friendly and kind. After we arrived the weather was chilly and often rainy. We both came down with bronchitis. I only mention this because even with these limitations we had a lovely time resting before a slow foray into town. This apartment can accommodate any situation. Before we left the sun came out, it was warm, and we climbed Mont Boron. The following day we walked the gorgeous sentier littoral which hugs the Mediterranean coast. So happy to be there for our 20th Anniversary!
A perfectly enchanting old world French apartment with most magnificent views of Nice and the sea.
This has been our eighth yearly return visit to this wonderful apartment. If you check out some other reviews, you will see that there are many other guests that have returned multiple times, with good reason!
The most outstanding thing is the fabulous view of the Mediterranean Sea from both within the apartment and from the sunny south facing balcony. The location is perfect, in a quiet, safe resdential neighbourhood, and within walking distance of the sea, groceries, bakeries and restaurants. Buses to Monaco, Villefranche and Cap Ferrat are conveniently located right nearby and there are peaceful walking trails in a natural setting away from the city, only 5 minutes walk away on Mont Boron.
The apartment is in an Art Deco building, with charming artwork and tasteful good quality furniture, which give it a home- like atmosphere. It is very comfortable, and has all the amenities you will need.
The owner, Olivia, goes the extra mile to make sure everything works out well for her guests.

Our apartment is located just below beautiful Mont Boron, known as the “Hollywood” of Nice. The Club Nautique's public beach next to the old Plongee Aigle Nautique (diving platform), and now home to La Plongeior restaurant, is an intimate, uncrowded bathing spot, within a short walking distance. In the opposite direction, just beyond 'La Réserve de Nice' restaurant, lovely public cliff beaches can be found.
Shop on foot for kitchen staples at a neighboring supermarché or select your petit déjeuner of croissant and baguette from several local boulangeries. A brief stroll to the Port offers lots of dining choices. Or just wander by the harbor’s edge and enjoy the exotic yachts and colorful classic Niçoise fishing boats.
Place Girabaldi, 'Vieille Ville' (old town), Place Masséna, Nice’s Cours Selaya Flower Market, and Colline du Chateau (Castle Hill), as well as the Promenade des Anglais, to name a few popular spots, are also all within walking distance, some shorter, some longer. Local public transport is both an easily accessible and affordable option.
