Great condo, great location

  • 5 of 5

Loved our stay here! Unit was just as expected- small, but clean, well-stocked, and comfortable for my husband and me. Couldn't ask for a better location! Steps away from the Snowflake lift, ski rental, and free bus. The heated garage and ski locker are fantastic! Before our stay I had several questions and the owners always responded- usually within an hour or two. The ski pass "sealed the deal" for us in choosing this unit as it saved several hundred dollars on a lift ticket. If just my husband and I come back, we would definitely check availability here. If we bring our kids, we might look for a slightly larger unit.

Great Location ! Nice Apartment ! Great Owner!

  • 5 of 5

Location

Skiing back to your apartment is just the BEST! 2 options to ski back down and be in the hot tub minutes later.

Having the Snowflake ski-lift and ticket window right next door is perfect!

Apartment

The apartment is great. It is small but solid!

Good bed, Good sleeper sofa that works great for younger kids

Apartment is 2 doors down from spa/outdoor hot tub

Everything you need for cooking, coffee and more is there - PERFECT!

Heated parking is VERY nice!

Owners - 5 STARS

During our stay the keycards stopped working, with in an hour I had 2 new cards. The owner was quick to respond and helpful.

FREE SKI PASS - This is the icing on the cake! Having the pass doesn't just save you money on a Ski Pass it also gives you 10% discount on all the food on the mountain.

This was a perfect place for our family ski getaway! We have 2 kids of 6 and 8, they slept on the nice sleeper sofa and we had a perfect mid week in Breck!

Just what I anticipated! Couldn't have been more pleased!

  • 5 of 5

This was a weekend, quick skiing trip, and my son indicated it was the best weekend in his entire life! He indicated he "shredded" every peak possible in Breckenridge! :) Top notch. Everything anticipated and exactly what we bargained for. The pullout couch was to be desired, but it was a pullout couch so we didn't expect much on that, so no complaints there. The village was within walking distance, buses were close, walking distance was close, the lift was around the corner! Thank you so much, and we will definitely be renting again! The owners were superb communicators. You will not be disappointed. Again, many thanks for sharing your home!

Great Location

  • 4 of 5

This condo is truly ski in/ski out... Only about 50 feet to the Snowflake lift out the back door, and then if you take the 4_o'clock run all the way toward town on the way back in, you are right across the street! Owners are easy to work with, deposit returned quickly. A real bonus is the medallion (Ski pass) that allows one person to ski free each day you are there! Very generous of them to share that! Also, the fireplace is a flick of a switch and warms up the place nicely.

But just some things to be aware of...

- the bedroom has no windows and very little access to any light coming in from the one door and window in the separate living area of the condo... Being on the 1st floor, the light coming in there is minimal and indirect. It is completely dark in the bedroom, so make sure to set your alarms! I now know how important a window is in my bedroom!

- the whole condo is pretty low light. We always felt the need to turn almost every light on when we were in there! But artificial lighting was good. That being said, there were 3 (out of 6) lights out in the bathroom. Unfortunately, we didn't get around to telling the owners until a day and a half before we left, so I guess that's why it wasn't taken care of. There is a cabinet in the bathroom labeled light bulbs, but none were to be found.

- we didn't try out the sleeper sofa, but using it as a sofa it was very mushy and uncomfortable. Seems a bit tired.

- the bed was comfortable. No complaints.

- enough fresh towels, pillows, blankets, etc.

- the kitchen... now I preface this with the fact that we rent condos specifically so we can cook most meals and not have to go out for every meal.

Very small but was still workable. Very little counter space, an old electric stove, a full refrigerator/freezer combo, enough pots and pans, dishes, knives (although very dull as is usual in condo rentals), glassware, silverware, etc. (although silverware and ziploc bags, plastic wrap, etc. are in the living room console in a drawer.), What I found lacking was... No spices at all. Only salt and pepper. Makes it hard when you are cooking for only a few days and traveling via plane. No vegetable peeler! (I know...) Also, very little in the way of food storage containers to save leftovers for next day lunch, etc. These are minor things but good to know.

All in all it was a good value and very convenient place to stay and ski. Thanks for letting us share your space!
