We loved this location from the first cable car ride up in the twilight and drizzle. Even without the full blown view, it was so fun and unique. The apartment sits literally atop the cable car transfer station. While you can hear the operation of it, I found it no more disturbing than a furnace kicking on for the most part. The hosts are very courteous and accommodating and even provided earplugs in case you are a light sleeper. Had everything we could want and was clean and welcoming. Couldn't stop looking out the windows...every one had a view of some sort. It can get a little pricey if you make many trips up and down the cable car but as long as you plan accordingly, it's fine. And so fun!!! Thank you Julianne and Ingo for your great hospitality!!
