The lovingly restored Gutshof (farmhouse) Blücherhof, in neo-baroque style, is situated in the heart of Mecklenburg’s Lake District. It is bounded by the magnificent, sloping landscape of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide nature reserve and the Mecklenburg Schweiz. The holiday home is located in the old Gutshof tavern. The Gutshof has a famous and beautiful garden full of trees, where you can learn about a number of trees as the garden was laid out by the famous botanist, Prof. Alexander König. In the house there is a sauna, a pool table and a table tennis table. Bicycles and row boats can be rented. The Dubenhus Bar was recently opened in the courtyard, so spoil yourself with coffee and cake or a delicious breakfast! There is also a ‘nature’ playground for the kids.
For groups of up to 11 persons there are 3 apartments at your disposal. The apartments vary in interior layout/furnishings. You have several living and sleeping areas. You can use the various kitchens, but there is a large kitchen where you can cook for the whole group. In the living rooms you will find cozy sitting areas complete with a TV. Parties or meetings can be held in the "Herrensaal", a hall especially suitable for larger groups (of up to 60 persons). The paintings on the wall tell many local stories and the acoustics here are very good. For smaller groups you can use the "Kaffeestube" (the coffee cafe).
