You can walk to almost every Tybee Island area restaurants, taverns and Island shopping.

Historic Savannah has 3 of the USA's most Famous Restaurants: 'The Pirates' House Restaurant' where you can act like a Pirate and talk like a Pirate (where the oldest building in all of Georgia resides), The popular Paula Deen's 'The Lady & Son's' restaurant and 'Mrs. Wilkes' family style restaurant where President Obama ate during his visit to Savannah, all in the Downtown Historic district of Savannah, GA and it's only 20 minutes away.

While you are in downtown Savannah, visit many of the Historic sites and homes, take a trolley ride, horse and carriage or various other means to see the downtown historic building and homes including the many haunted establishments.

We have a fully equipped Kitchen, with free use of a washer/Dryer inside our home. Free WI-Fi, DVD player, 3 television sets, Historic Homes and Golf nearby. Outdoor BBQ grils.

Our home is the end Unit Closest to the Beach: Our Ocean View Condominium has one of the best views of the ocean. The two rocking high chairs provide a very relaxing and romantic view while the swinging lounge seat affords a soothing feeling to enjoy the Island breeze. We are within steps of the ocean, two blocks from the city pier where you can rent fishing equipment and fish right oiff the pier. We are within walking distance of local restaurants, shopping and taverns.

Visit downtown Historic Savannah: Geogia's first city and one of the Nation’s earliest Historic Districts. This is a true walking City that allows visitors to view Historic homes as well as the 21 City Squares with their year round live oak trees and hanging Spanish Moss.

There is an abundance of restaurants to please everyone's palate.

Take a River Boat Cruise on just walk along the River Front and enjoy the many restaurants, shops, then rest on one of the walking open mall benches and watch the huge International cargo ships ride the Savannah River as they come in and out of our Port, which is the fourth largest port in the USA

Area Golf: Savannah and its surrounding areas offer many excellent Golf courses. The local weather provides an opportunity to play year round. some golf courses are within 15 minutes away and have some of the finest courses available. Rates are reasonable and tee times are often easy to get. There are plenty of public as well as private golf courses to choose from, including those designed by several golf professionals.

About Tom Colasanto

Cathy & I met after we both suffered tragic marital losses. We were both born and raised in New York, but actually met an fell in love in the Savannah, GA area.

We first lived in a rural suburban but realized that without any children living at home, that an urban area was more our liking. we moved to downtown Savannah in 2005 and have enjoyed every day here in our walking community.

Tom Colasanto purchased this condo in 2006

Why Tom Colasanto chose Coastal Georgia

Cathy always wanted a place by the water. We looked for years until we settled on our Magnificent Ocean View Condominium. However, since we are both very active people and discovered that we could not spend as much time at our Ocean View Condominium as we would have liked to, we elected to share our home and all its beauty with others, and began using it for short term rentals.

What makes this condo unique

Our home is in an excellent prime location within walking distance of almost everything Tybee. Our home is a show place and has a fantastic ocean view. We are located on the south end of the beach where most of the activities take place.

I would love to brag on your condo again at links below, except we bought a new computer and I have not bought Microsoft Office yet, so I have no word doc. to type anything in. Weather was perfect for us, after all, we left below zero temps in Illinois. We also love the peacefulness of January, so it was all good. Hoping to stay again next year for 2 weeks if you'll have us!! Thanks so much for the gift certificate also, we always eat at Spanky's at least once & this time I had something other than the stuffed quesadillas I love so much, because we ate there twice! Thank you again for everything!

Notes:
Pictures are deceiving, premises is actually better than the photos, for proof, read the reviews. We recently upgraded the flooring in the living, dining, kitchen and hall to tiled floors, and repainted the whole interior. Bedrooms have carpeting. We continue to upgrade as time goes on.

Beautiful view, perfect location!

This was our second time staying at this location. It was just what we needed- the view and closeness to the beach that my sister in law has to have and the close proximity to restaurants and stores that I love. I would highly recommend this condo.

TRULY OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME

WE HSVE BEEN VISITING THIS CONDO OWNED BY TOM & CATHY SINCE 2012, WE VISIT EVERY SEPTEMBER. WE EVEN WENT ON OUR HONEYMOON AT THE CONDO.

IF YOU WANT A CLEAN CONDO, REASONABLY PRICED,WITH A GREAT VIEW OF THE OCEAN AND VERY VERY CLOSE TO SHOPS ,GROCERY STORES ,AND RESTAURANTS ,LOOK NO FURTHER. THE LOCATION IS PERFECT AS THE SOUTH PART OF THE ISLAND IS MORE SMALL TOWN "BEACHY" ATMOSPHERE WHICH MAKES THE WHO;LE TRIP UNIQUE. TOM AND CATHY ARE TERRIFIC PEOPLE AND VERY HONORABLE AND SINCERE.

Wish we could have stayed longer

We had booked a week long stay but after a day and a half we were evacuated from Tybee Island because of Hurricane Irma. What a shame because we loved the place. Sitting on the balcony the ocean was in view and the breeze was divine. The condo was well appointed with everything one needed for a week stay. The beach was a two minute walk away. Tom and Cathy were very informative and available for any questions. Just wish Mother Nature had cooperated because we know this would hav been one great week to relax.

Unfortunately Mother Nature took preference! Irma was gracious enough to pass us by Tybee Island with very little damage to some homes. Fortunately our home did not suffer any damage whatsoever, and part of that reason was the fact that your and your family took the time out before you left to secure all the outdoor furniture. Wonderful vacation spot

My son and I spent 3 nights here on a much-needed break. The condo is beautifully decorated, the owners had some surprising welcome gifts (including chocolates on the pillows!), and there is no way to beat the view from that balcony! Tall chairs make it easy to see over the dunes to the beach and the ocean. It was a fabulous vacation, and we felt we could have stayed forever. I'm definitely planning to return!

Such a great condo!!

This unit is in a great location with a great beach view. It was stocked with everything we could have needed and then some! The covered parking was great for the rainy weather we (unfortunately) had with a tropical storm off the coast. But, I did find 3 shark teeth on the beach! We would definitely rent this unit again to come back to Tybee. Thank you again, Tom and Cathy! And thank you for the sweet welcome for our wedding!
