We call our beach home 'Suite 16 and kissed by the sun'- you will call it heaven. Enjoy our sugar white sands and emerald waters by day and the calming sounds of the surf by night. This townhome boasts a private deck off the spacious living area, as well as a private balcony off the master bedroom.
The views are breathtaking in all directions and are often called the best on the beach. Beautifully decorated, updated kitchen, tastefully decorated bedrooms, washer/dryer, covered parking and more. This is a wonderful vacation retreat... enjoy the serenity of our beach in Seagrove.

Only Walton County, FL landowners are allowed to have pets on the beach with proper permits.

There is nothing like the beauty/calm of the beach, after a storm, as there is nothing like a place to totally relax after a tragedy. To find this awesome place, knowing that it would sooth our souls, and also hoping that the storm would go away sooner than later...AWESOME.. Laura, the manager, could not have been better. The location was perfect, all that we were hoping for, and more than we needed (but, we were thrilled to see the blender...we always need one on Friday night!). Thank you, Laura, for making sure everything was just right for us.
I'm sure that we will need more calm/relaxing in the months ahead, and I certainly plan to call you. I hope the owners of this property appreciate all that you do! We certainly do!
We love the Seagrove area. This was our sixth visit over the last 15 years. We've seen it grow up and develop a lot. The drive is getting more difficult and congested but when you get down to those beautiful emerald waters and white beaches, it's all worth it. We've stayed in houses a couple of times when we have had a large enough group to split the costs and condos several times, but we've become spoiled to staying beachfront for the views and convenience. Suite 16 absolutely fit the bill for beachfront views and easy access to the beach. You literally step out your door and walk about five steps to the corner of the building, and you're on the beach. This unit was perfect for accommodating two couples. Check in/out was so convenient. We were given the keypad code and just let ourselves in and out. No keys to keep up with and no waiting in line after a long day's drive. I was concerned several weeks prior to our arrival to read the past review of construction noise in the area. I contacted Laura who was GREAT about keeping me informed of current events. It turned out to not be an issue at all. I had some concerns about the cleanliness of the unit when we arrived (more attention to detail is needed) and the AC had issues at the end of the week. Again, Laura was right on top of the problems and did her best to alleviate any problems. (The AC was fixed that very day.) The unit itself is comfortable but not overly fancy. (no granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, etc. that seem to be the demand these days) I didn't want fancy at the beach; we came for the views and beach, which we absolutely got! We saw dolphins several days very close to the beach. We rented bikes and kayaks from www.the-rental-shop.com. Owners Noah and Ashley were great to work with. The equipment was delivered and picked up for us...excellent customer service. We also had umbrella and beach chairs set up each day, in addition to our own umbrellas. You need plenty of shade to make a day of it on the beach! We always pick up steamed shrimp several times during our stay from our beloved Goatfeathers and this time discovered a couple of new places: The Perfect Pig and Mi Casita Mexican Grill...both delicious. We definitely would rent this unit again if our group was this size.
Our family stayed in WD 16 from 6/4/16-6/11/16. The location in Seagrove is perfect for those who prefer a layed-back atmosphere. The unit has beautiful views of the beach and very easy access! It was also nice that there were beach chairs a small umbrella and a few beach toys provided.
The overall condition of the unit is fair-good. It's an older complex and this unit shows it a bit.
We arrived 30 minutes before official check- in of 4:00. The housekeeper was still working on the place; she said that she had some sort of issue she had to deal with that was created by the tenants before us. When I asked for specifics she didn't elaborate. From what I could see of the stairs from the doorway- it looked like sand may have been one of the issues, as it was excessively covered! We left to rent some bikes and such while she finished. We returned to a mostly cleaned unit. The furniture, counters, baths, bedrooms were clean, however, there was still a good amount of sand on the floors- so much so, that I had to sweep before unloading our things. Now I know the housekeeper attempted to remove the sand because the stairs were much cleaner than I first witnessed. This sand had also made it to the queen bed in the guest room. I had to change those sheets. In addition to the remaining sand, the floors had not been mopped. There were many spots where a drink or something had dripped. The spots were black from dirt. We spent our first day in socks or shoes until I bought a mop and cleaned the floors the next day. Hopefully, the housekeeping will be alerted and will do better in future- fortunately this is a quick fix.
One big negative is that the top floor is not cool! The vents barely have any air flowing from them. The ceiling fan in the master only goes to what I would call a medium speed. Our week was not terribly hot,so up until our last night it was tolerable. To dry my hair and do makeup I went downstairs to the half bath where it was cool.
One of the reviews mentioned the master bath sink not draining well; my husband took care of that. No more problem there.
To be fair to the management, I did not let them know about any of our concerns. So I didn't give them a chance to take care of them. Perhaps they will be able to work on the A/C , once they see this review.
Under construction! Every morning of our stay at 7 AM we awoke to BEEP BEEP BEEP construction trucks. They are replacing the roofs which needs to be done no doubt but one would think they would do this during the off season instead of the beginning of peak season. There is allot of additional work to be done on the outside. Good I guess they are doing it but question the timing.
Great location ON THE BEACH, off the highway, close to Seaside and Rosemary Beach.
This condo has been updated to some extent. Fresh paint and I loved the colors. Floors seem to be fairly new though the cheaper laminate but works in a Condo especially a rental condo on the beach. You never get the sand off the floors I am sure. We splurged and rented chairs and umbrellas. The service sets them up every morning and takes them down at night. That is worth it however you would not have to go far if you carried your own. The water here is clear and beautiful. Never saw any dolphins but the pelicans come by every morning and evening.
The outside patio door handle was put on backwards so there is nothing to grip on the outside part of the door. Makes it a little tricky to open and close. Apparently no one cared as it is now rusted on that way. We managed.
One more thing you can't see in the pictures. There are TWO sets of stairs. One set at the entry to get to the living area and then another to get to the bedrooms. There is a half bath on the living level so that is good. I am not opposed to the exercise but does make a difference when carrying boxes and suit cases.
Kitchen appliances are dated but worked fine. There was a penny in the garbage disposal. My husband got it out so no harm. The master bath sink did not drain. A trickle of water to wet your toothbrush filled the sink with standing water that was still there when ready to rinse! The tenant before us reported the light out in the master bath which was corrected the afternoon of our arrival. I am not sure why the sink would not be reported by them or the cleaning crew.
Kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. It was nice that there was a bottle of dawn, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent and plenty of dish towels. We have rented condos before and had to purchase all that stuff. I am not sure if we lucked out or if that is normally provided so check before you go.
Would I rent again? Probably but I certainly would ask about construction!
