Fuente de Hierro, the "iron spring", has been the name of the country for many centuries, on which your finca stands with old trees. Already the Moors made rest here on their way from the coast across the Sierra to Granada and brought their water here. During your stay on your finca you can have about (2x) 150 m² living space (ground floor, ground floor), with weather-controlled underfloor heating.

The pool is heated on request.

Depending on the sun you choose between an east, south or west roof, pool or grill terrace.

You can enter the ground either directly from the large parking lot via the dining room or via the living room / south terrace. The kitchen, all doors and cabinets were made by a carpenter from Vélez-Málaga for Fuente de Hierro. Natural and earth colors characterize the interior of the finca. The walls are extra rustico-style, as the fincas very much earlier from the inside looked.

They are the only guests. :-)

Finca Fuente de Hierro has its own private pool. They are always the sole guests.

Finca Fuente de Hierro (about 1. 500sqm) is located at 800 m altitude, is built on two floors and has 150 sqm on the ground floor and 140 sqm on the first floor.

They are always the sole guests and can gladly enjoy your holiday with up to 10 (maximum 15) persons. On the various spacious terraces you can relax according to your taste and enjoy the tranquility or meet with the others of your group or with your family members for social gathering together.

The pool of Finca Fuente de Hierro is about 9m x 4m in size, with indoor pool lighting and heated by arrangement. The countercurrent system is also available.

Finca Fuente de Hierro has quiet microprocessor controlled air conditioners. Especially for the transition time or for the winter months the weather-controlled floor heating is simply very pleasant. The plant is fed mainly by the sun through solar thermal panels. The additional heating for solar-weak days is a quiet heat pump.

Of course, bed linen and towels are provided, the two kitchens are fully equipped.

Especially the washing machines (incl. Washing powder) are welcome for our guests with children: just wash the clothes so they are fresh the next day, relieves your luggage.

Hiking (maps in the living room) in the Sierra de Almijarra / de Tejeda Nature Park and golfing on the coast (Baviera Golf) are possible. This is the ideal place for individual holidays for lovers and demanding. You will find peace and relaxation here and are the sole guests.

Your care is provided by our gentle administrator Candido.

On all sinks, there is soap dispenser with pH-neutral soap. In the showers there are also soap dispensers, filled with pH neutral shower gel.

Fuente de Hierro has one free DSL Internet connection and W-Lan for you.

How to get there: You can travel either by car or by plane directly to Malaga and then take a rental car at the airport. For a detailed description, please refer to the brochure or the information folder, which we will be pleased to send you. They are welcomed by our administrator and sent to the finca. If your arrival is late, the administrator will wait for you, if the delay is to go into the night, you will find everything illuminated and open-minded. The administrator then comes the next morning. Depending on the weather, the administrator will be present several times a week on the finca for watering the plants, cleaning the pool and taking care of the land for a few hours. Cheap flights: Ryanair, Condor, TUIfly, Easy Jet, German Wings, Lufthansa, Iberia, Vueling.

Cultural sites near the Finca / Climate: Autostunden: Granada (Alhambra) 2,5; Seville 3.5; Ronda 3; Córdoba 2.5; Toledo 5; Gibraltar 3; Algeciras, for Ceuta / Morocco, 3. The Axarquia (Rincon de la Victoria to Nerja) has the mildest annual climate in Europe. The location between the sea and the mountains ensures a constant temperature balance and allows the cultivation of avocados, sugar cane, magos and papayas in addition to olives, almonds, wine, kaki.

Fantastyczne miejsce na cudowny odpoczynek

Szczerze polecamy Finca Fuente de Hierro na wakacyjny odpoczynek. Dom jest bardzo wygodny dla dwóch rodzin lub większej grupy znajomych, wyposażenie jest idealne, wiele drobiazgów kuchennych, wszystko co jest potrzebne do codziennego życia. Każda sypialnia ma klimatyzacje, bezwględnie konieczna w tym klimacie zwłaszcza latem. Dom jest położony okolo 800 n.p.m i dzięki temu nawet w gorące dni upał nie jest odczuwalny. Dodatkowo jego położenie jest idealne dla osób ceniących ciszę i spokój ( około 50 m powyżej jest granica Parku Narodowego) a także dla tych, którzy lubią klimaty prawdziwego życia, co mozna doświadczyć w licznych otaczających "Pueblas blancas" Canillas de Abaida, Competa, Archez, Salares z uroczymi knajpkami, serdecznymi mieszkańcami i fiestami. Dla tych co szukają ochłody w morzu blisko jest do jednej z najładniejszych płaz w okolicach Nerji czy do tez potoku Rio Chillar. Około 1,5 -2 godzin do Granady, 2-3 do Sevilli, Cordoby czy Giblartaru. Ralf jest bardzo sympatycznym właścicielem, otwartym i serdecznym. Rozmowa z nim była przyjemnością, gdyz zawsze chciał "przychylić nieba". Chcielibyśmy jeszcze kiedyś spędzić wakacje w tym niesamowitym miejscu.

Fantastic Location - superb villa - helpful owner

This is a fantastic villa - actually 2 villas one above the other - in a beautiful location. We stayed as a family of 12 (2 grandparents, 2 children and spouses and 6 grandchildren) and had a fantastic time. Both villas had excellent facilities with top range equipment. The upstairs villa is on the same level as the lovely pool, which was where we based ourselves most of the time. The downstairs accommodation is entirely separate with its own entrance, veranda, large kitchen etc - in fact it is probably larger than upstairs but we used it just for bedrooms mainly and focused family activities around the pool, kitchen veranda and barbecue terrace.

The location is beautiful but is also fairly remote. This has its bonuses and downsides. The journey is on very winding roads climbing the mountainside and is not for the faint hearted! It took about 40 minutes from the beach at Torre del Mar. But except the last 500m it is tarmac all the way, with wonderful scenery to enjoy with steep valleys and incredible mountains. So don't anticipate a quick walk down to the local bar!

However nearby Competa (10 minutes by car) is a lovely mountain village with various plazas, great restaurants (try La Taberna) and several shops and supermarkets that will keep you going. We enjoyed visiting for the Grape Treading Festival which attracted thousands of visitors from the area and was a great day with local people. The nearest large shopping is at El Ingenio just off the E15 1km north of Torre Del Mar, with an Eroski hypermarket, many shops including C&A (remember them!) and several family restaurants.

The owner, Ralf, is the most helpful owner I have come across! From the beginning of booking to the day of departure he was nothing but obliging. He even purchased an additional outside table during our stay so that we could all sit as 12 people together for meals. With frequent emails and a call from Germany when we arrived to make sure all was well, he was never intrusive and always helpful and courteous. He simply wanted us to enjoy our time there and nothing was too much trouble.

Any downside? The villa says it is 5 bedrooms but the 5th is just a single and had no air-con. But I think Ralf is considering air-con for it as well.

All in all a wonderful villa. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, peaceful location.

An excellent Finca set in a beautiful location. The house comes very well equipped, with pretty much everything you could think you would need. We were very well welcome and looked after by Ralf, who even arranged a new table to be bought for the terrace so we could fit our entire family at meal times.

The surrounding area is beautiful and there are amazing views from the Finca, even being able to see the mountains of Morocco. We visited the local town Competa a few times and would highly recommend La Taberna restaurant in Competa.

I would highly recommend staying here.

Superb Finca, wonderful holidays

Magnificent Finca, perfectly equipped for wonderful holidays, everything you may need is there, readily available.

The house is located in a calm spot in the mountains, with nice "white villages" nearby.

Perfect for families with children ( 5 in our case) that will spend most of their time in the swimming pool.

We appreciated the two houses which allowed each to have a certain independence.

The owner's main concern is his guests well being and he ensures everything is just perfect.

We shall return...

Maison magnifique, parfaitement equipée pour passer de merveilleuses vacances.

Au calme, dans la montagne, entourée de villages blancs. séjour parfait avec 5 enfants qui ont bien profité de la piscine.

Nous avons apprécié la disposition des deux maisons qui permet à chacun d'avoir son intimité et son indépendance.

Proprietaire tres attentionné. Nous reviendrons

Traumhafte Finca mit toller Ausstattung

Wir hatten einen tollen Osterurlaub auf der Finca und haben nur den unteren Teil bewohnt, mit zwei Kleinkindern und zwei Erwachsenen. Die Lage der Finca ist toll und sehr idyllisch, zwischen Olivenhainen, mit Berg- und Meerblick. Die Finca und das Grundstück sind sehr gepflegt. Das ist sicherlich das am besten ausgestattete Ferienhaus, in dem wir jemals Urlaub gemacht haben! Man merkt, dass der Vermieter die Finca auch privat nutzt und so ist an alles gedacht. Die Kinder haben sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten jede Menge zu entdecken. Der Vermieter Herr Hansen hat uns sowohl im Vorfeld als auch während des Aufenthaltes optimal betreut und war sehr hilfsbereit - vielen Dank hierfür!

Unsere persönlichen Highlights waren kleine Wanderungen in der Umgebung, mit abenteuerlichen Bachüberquerungen, Bergziegen und selbstgepflückten Orangen. Da es zum Baden noch etwas zu kalt war, haben wir nur einen Ausflug ans Meer unternommen und ansonsten lieber die Ruhe und Natur rund um die Finca genossen. Wir können dieses tolle Feriendomizil nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen und hoffen, ebenfalls noch einmal dort einen Urlaub verbringen zu können.

The Finca Fuente de Hierro is located at 800 m above sea level, on its own property of about 2000 square meters and old trees. You have your own, private, maintained by our administrator pool (May-October, on request in the other months).

Finca Fuente de Hierro is located near major cultural sites on the Costa del Sol east of Málaga, south of the Maroma (2065 m), 300 m from the Natural Park Sierra de Almijara / de Tejeda, between the Moorish wine villages of Archez-Salares - Canillas de Albaida - Cómpeta. You can enjoy the view of the Mediterranean Sea (distance 10 km, mountain road 23 km to the coast). It is 78 km away from Málaga airport, where your rental car is waiting. Day shopping and restaurants are in Canillas de Albaida / Cómpeta, richer in tourist centers on the Costa del Sol at La Caleta / Torre del Mar / Vélez Málaga; There are also golf courses (Baviera Golf). The sun, softened by the mountain wind and sea breeze, creates a pleasantly dry climate. Here is perfect peace.

Other Activities: Jogging on the contour path through the mountains, mountain walks overlooking Granada, walking and enjoying the breathtaking nature of the Natural Park with its vastness.

The company Salmandra in Cómpeta also offers z. B. Mountain Biking, Kayaking or Caving (www.malaga-aventura.es).

Full or half day trips z. B. to Nerja (beach, Balcon de Europa, stalactite), Achebuchal (destroyed in the civil war in 2005 and rebuilt village in the mountains), Garanada (city, Alhambra), Cordoba (Mesquita, Old Town), Gibraltar, Tarifa, Ronda, Alpucharra, the white villages.

Our manager takes care of the garden and the pool, waters the pots and stands with advice and assistance to the side.

The finca Fuente de Hierro has a ground floor (5 persons) and a first floor (5 persons), the pool is on the level of the 1st. Floor. Both floors are separate and self-sufficient, fully furnished and both have z. B. also has its own kitchen. Very quiet, microprocessor controlled air conditioners are installed in each bedroom, and if you leave the doors in the house, this in its entirety also cools down.

The parking lot is big enough for 4 cars. If you B. If you want to lock your mountain bikes, you are welcome to put them in the locked garage.

In den Monaten November bis einschließlich April können Sie gerne nach Absprache den Pool auch verwenden, dann kommt zu den genannen Mietpreisen ein Betrag von 20 Euro pro Tag hinzu. Der Pool wird von unserm Verwalter gesäubert und gepflegt.
Der Pool ist nach Absprache beheizt, je nach Temperaturwunsch richtet sich dann der zusätzliche Preis für das Heizen des Pools. Im Heizbetrieb bitten wir Sie, den Pool immer anch dem Schwimmen mit der dafür vorgesehenen Folie wieder abzudecken, damit die Wärmeverluste möglichst gering bleiben.
