Beautiful beachfront condominium on Seven Mile Beach is perfect for a couples' getaway or for a family vacation. 3 bedroom unit sleeps up to 8 people in 1440 sq ft and is fully equipped with all kitchenware and linens, including beach towels. Heavenly Caribbean views, especially from the living room. Unit has its own washer/dryer and large flat screen TV in master bedroom (with king bed) as well as second TV in living room. Second bedroom with queen bed and bunk beds sleeps up to 4. Third bedroom has king size bed.

Located on the ground floor at Tamarind Bay, which is next to the Marriott Hotel and its conveniences, including access to water sports rentals (such as jet skis and kayaks) and a beachfront bar. Tamarind Bay has a beautiful private beach and is in walking distance to shops and downtown Georgetown. Swimming pool in this private complex is perfect for the kids when they tire of chasing fish in the sea out front! Barbecue around the pool in a complex that includes lunch tables within gazebos and all the lounge chairs you'll need. The best kept secret is the management at Tamarind Bay, whose friendliness and helpfulness is renowned throughout Grand Cayman.

If you've never been to Cayman, please go. The Caribbean here is crystal clear and always warm, with assorted fish, turtles, and rays swimming right off Seven Mile Beach. The people are helpful and friendly and this is the safest place we've ever visited; it's like a step back in time. A paradise for children of all ages.

About Susan

California couple has owned and vacationed here with their children for 14 years. Our children are now college-age, but we and they still return to this second home as often as possible. This is the perfect place for quality family time, with all your needs supplied. We fell in love with Grand Cayman the first time we visited in 1994 and bought our place there as soon as we could afford it. We have maintained and improved it over time, adding a second TV in the master bedroom and new mattresses, etc. We love to hear comments from our guests and always respond to suggestions for improvement. We love to use it ourselves, but when we can't, we enjoy sharing this unit with other families.

Why Susan chose George Town

We fell in love with Grand Cayman when we first visited there when our daughters were 3 and 5. Shortly after renting a car at the airport, my husband pulled the car over to review an island map, as he was unsure if we were headed the right way. Almost immediately, a taxi pulled up behind us and the driver got out of her van to ask my husband if 'she could be of assistance in helping him with directions.' She told us to follow her and directed us to our rental condominium. She wasn't paid; she just saw we needed help, so she helped us. That's pretty common in Cayman and set the tone for a spectacular vacation of swimming, sunning, snorkeling, and great restaurants. Our kids LOVED it. We returned 2 yrs later and stayed at another complex on Seven mile Beach with a particularly great 2 bedroom plus den oceanfront layout. Again, we loved it. We scanned real estate listings at the end of that vacation and when we saw a unit in another complex with the same layout (by the same architect) at a reasonable price, we bought it. We've enjoyed it and have vacationed there annually since then.

What makes this condo unique

Our unit is fully equipped at the highest level. It was recently completely remodeled and refurnished, including designer furniture and all new kitchenware and linens. We have flat screen high def TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and third bedroom. We provide games, cards, books, music, and DVDs for our guests. Although luxurious, our place is 'Caribbean comfortable' where guests can enjoy slouching on any sofa with their shoes off while staring at the beautiful sea outside.

Best condo on Seven Mile Beach

After spending a week in Cayman over Thanksgiving, we came to the conclusion that this is the best condo on all of Seven Mile Beach. It's located right in the middle of everything, close to shops, restaurants, bars, watersports, etc. But the beach itself is very private and uncrowded. Since many of the other condos are occupied by residents, the grounds are very quiet and we never once had trouble finding an open cluster of beach chairs. The condo itself is beautiful - the pictures we saw here really don't do it justice.

The condo was fully stocked with everything we needed for relaxing nights in - a full kitchen with every pot and cooking utensil, in addition to a grill just steps outside the front door. We took our meals out to eat under the private gazebos, right on the beach.

When we'd had enough quiet and privacy, we just walked 2 minutes down the beach to the bar at the Marriott for amazing pina coladas and conch fritters, and more lively crowds. We also rented paddle boards there (but not after drinking the pina coladas!). Another 10 minutes down the beach brought us to the Royal Palms beach bar, which has late night music and dancing.

We would recommend this condo for everyone, since it has everything to offer a wide variety of vacationers (families, couples, large groups of all ages). The host is very responsive and accommodating, and her restaurant recommendations brought us to some hidden gems. All in all, it was a wonderful trip.

Tamarind Bay

A lovely, well situated well stocked condo with a friendly ,accomodating staff.

Considering it was located in the heart of 7 mile beach, the outdoor area and beach were surprisingly private. Owner’s recommendations for places to go such as snorkel sites and get provisions veryhelpful. A very safe environment was an added benefit- best in the Caribbean!

A beautiful condo in a perfect location!

I came to the Cayman Islands for a spring trip with 5 other adults. The condo accommodated us all very comfortably with room to spare. All of the beds were very comfortable and the place was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked as well, which was great since we cooked most of our own meals. We loved the grills right outside of the unit! We also enjoyed staying in on the one rainy day while we were there, playing the puzzles and games provided in the unit and streaming Netflix to the Chromecast that was on the tv.

The condo complex itself is located on a lovely, quiet stretch of beach, and there were always plenty of open chairs. We were able to do some snorkeling on a reef just offshore. It's also very close to larger resorts where we could rent paddle boards and book other activities. We enjoyed walking to nearby restaurants and shops as well.

All in all this condo was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for! I hope to come back again soon.

View is great,condo is nice as well,as bit run down and outdated,great place to take a family,just watch out for the Jamaicansnow giving fly board lessons,hackers don't know what their doing,shot me right into the Jet ski,luckily wearing a helmet,the other guys with the flyboarding were awesome,had our whole group up,very professional and watch out for your safety unlike the other guys.snorkeling right off the beach was amazing,definitely a great family vacation,3rd year,be back next year

Absolutely wonderful

This is our second year to stay at Tamarind Bay properties. The floor plan for each unit is the same. We love the location on Seven Mile Beach as it is close to restaurants, buses, taxis, and into Georgetown. However, the best part is that we do not have hardly any foot traffic in front of us on the beach. It is almost like having your own private beach. Lots of umbrellas and lounge chairs, beautiful fresh water pool and this unit is literally just about 25 yards to the beach! Sand and water is pristine and being in a unit on the bottom floor literally steps from the beach was awesome!

Property owners were wonderful to work with and Kathy the Property Manager is extremely kind and helpful. Units are extremely clean, wonderfully furnished condo and kitchen, great wifi connection, washer/dryer, and extremely comfortable beds. Snorkeling in front of property is amazing as well. We loved this property and really have enjoyed both of the units that we rented at Tamarind Bay. We had 6 people and slept comfortably and had a couple join us for a few nights and it was comfortable with 8 as well. This unit has 2 king beds in separate bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom has a queen and a set of bunk beds. If you are looking for a lovely vacation, it is hard to beat this one!
